Marasmius Orange and Fluffy Cup Mushroom

(Edited)

Hello Fungi Lovers friends, suddenly I wanted to write a post and share some photos with the Fungi Lovers community, and until finally I opened my laptop and played with my fingers on the keyboard, trying to write as best I could and explain as best I could, because honestly; I don't really understand about mushrooms and naming mushrooms, here I use the help of Google lens to find out the name of the mushroom that I share.

On this occasion I will share some photos of mushrooms that are in my smartphone gallery, maybe some of the mushrooms that I share here I have also shared in the previous Fungi Friday community, but friends need to know that, the mushrooms that I share in this post are files that are different from what I've shared before, it's just that the objects and compositions may be the same. Because all photos that I have shared on the hive platform I will delete from my smartphone gallery, this is to avoid mistakes in reposting images that have been posted, because as we both know, reposting the same image is a violation.

Okay friends, without extending the preface I will immediately invite you to see some of the mushrooms that I will share on this occasion, and by the way all the photos I share here were taken using a smartphone camera and the help of a macro lens, hope you like it;

First Mushroom - "Marasmius Orange"

This is the first mushroom that I will share with Fungi Lovers friends on this occasion, this mushroom is named Marasmius, this is the name I found when I tried to match photos in my smartphone gallery on Google Lens. And here I will also quote some explanations on wikipedia that explain about the mushrooms that I share, there it is stated that;

"Marasmius is a genus of mushroom-forming fungi in the family Marasmiaceae. It contains about 500 species of agarics. . . . ."Read More On Wikipedia

The Marasmius that I share is orange, here I try to edit this mushroom image with a dark background, here are some photos of the mushroom named marasmius which I will share with all my friends;

Second Mushroom - "Cookeina"

This is the second mushroom photo that I will share with Fungi Lovers friends on this occasion, this mushroom is named Cookeina, as usual ; the name of the mushroom that I wrote here is the result of matching on Google lens, and here I will also quote some explanations on wikipedia that explain the mushrooms that I share in this section, there it is stated that;

"Cookeina is a genus of cup fungi in the family Sarcoscyphaceae, members of which may be found in tropical and subtropical regions of the world.. . . . ." Read More On WIkipedia

This mushroom that I share has feathers, slightly different and red in color with a little soft fur around it, and by the way if you look at it from a different angle this mushroom is heart shaped, the heart shape that I find is only if I take it at a certain angle, and I was also a little surprised when I found the perfect angle to take photos of mushrooms that I shared on this occasion, below are some photos of mushrooms named Cookeina which I will share with Fungi Lover friends on this occasion, I hope you like it;

So good of you! Excellent finds and a perfect macros. The second mushroom indeed, is named Cookeina tricholoma, (common name - Bristly Tropical Cup). You've got iD correctly. The post is nominated for #OCD curation.

Thanks for the knowledge, if in the future I find this mushroom again, I will give it a name according to what you wrote at this time, so I don't have to look at the google lens again 😁🤝

Great job on your post and precautionary steps to avoid breaking rules!

You took some great pictures and I loved the Marasmius ones with really dark background, it looked like out of a grim forest in some game
