Saludos amigos y amigas de @motherhood, de seguro todos ya estamos con los nervios del pronto inicio de clases de nuestros hijos además de ver que tengan todo lo necesario.

Greetings friends and friends of @motherhood, for sure we all are already nervous about the start of classes for our children and to see that they have everything they need.

El año escolar en Chile inicia de forma masiva el día 6 de marzo aunque algunos establecimientos educacionales comenzaron el día 28 de febrero y se adelantan levemente al resto.

The school year in Chile starts massively on March 6, although some educational establishments began on February 28 and are slightly ahead of the rest.

Este año 2023 mi pequeña Rocío se convierte en alumna de primer año básico (primaria), como padres estamos ansiosos por ver cómo actuará frente a lo que podría decirse desconocido para ella, aunque debo confesarles que desde el año pasado me di a la tarea de enseñarle las cosas básicas tales como las vocales, las consonante "M" y "P", los números hasta el 10, sumar y restar a lo cual lo entendió a la brevedad y hoy por hoy a sus seis años sabe contar hasta el número 100 y resolver problemas sencillos.

This year 2023 my little Rocío becomes a student of first grade (primary), as parents we are anxious to see how she will act in front of what could be said to be unknown to her, although I must confess that since last year I gave myself the task of teaching her the basics such as vowels, the consonant "M" and "P", numbers up to 10, addition and subtraction to which she understood very quickly and today at six years old she knows how to count to the number 100 and solve simple problems.

Para este año escolar con su padre optamos por una enseñanza diferente y la matriculamos en un colegio online, créame que buscamos e investigamos mucho hasta llegar a un colegio que cumplía el protocolo de enseñanza que pide el "mineduc" entidad del ámbito educacional en Chile y la malla de enseñanza que imparten es exactamente la misma que en un colegio convencional.

For this school year with her father we opted for a different teaching and enrolled her in an online school, believe me we searched and researched a lot until we found a school that met the teaching protocol requested by the "mineduc" entity of the educational field in Chile and the teaching curriculum that they teach is exactly the same as in a conventional school.

Desde enero de este año comenzó con talleres para ir adaptándose a su funcionamiento el cual le gustó bastante y ante todo llamó su atención por completo. Este colegio online se llama WITED y tiene funcionamiento en varios países.

Since January of this year he began with workshops to adapt to its operation, which he liked a lot and above all caught his attention completely. This online school is called WITED and operates in several countries.

Además de contar con clases en vivo también pueden hacer preguntas vía mensaje a sus profesores las cuales les responden de la misma manera, también cabe mencionar que los padres podemos comparar clases privadas para reforzar los puntos que más les cuesten a los niños y también asesoramiento para los padres para el momento de la inscripción de nuestros hijos para dar los exámenes libres.

Este colegio cuenta con tres modalidades de precios donde sus valores son diferentes pero todos de calidad y otra particularidad es que pueden acceder a sus clases sólo como reforzamiento para los niños y niñas que vayan a una escuela "normal".

This school has three types of prices where their values are different but all of quality and another particularity is that they can access their classes only as reinforcement for children who go to a "normal" school.

Quizás se estén preguntando el porqué de esta decisión para nuestra hija y la respuesta es muy sencilla, primeramente nos motivó a esta decisión la excesiva cantidad de horas que los niños están en el colegio (8:00-17:00 hrs) lo cual no nos gusto, en segundo las instalaciones educacionales están mezcladas y los niños pequeños deben compartir patio, baños y comedor con adolescentes que cursan desde 1° a 4° medio (secundaria) sin mucha supervisión de adultos.

Perhaps you are wondering why this decision was made for our daughter and the answer is very simple, firstly we were motivated to this decision by the excessive amount of hours that children are in school (8:00-17:00 hrs) which we did not like, secondly the educational facilities are mixed and young children must share playground, bathrooms and dining room with teenagers who are studying from 1st to 4th grade (high school) without much adult supervision.

Así que este año mi hija si realizara su enseñanza en otra modalidad donde aprenderá lo mismo pero bajo la protección de sus padres y en un entorno seguro de su hogar, por otro lado si se preguntan sobre la interacción con otros niños eso es algo que realiza de forma normal tanto como con sus primos o vecinos.

So this year my daughter will learn in another modality where she will learn the same but under the protection of her parents and in a safe environment at home, on the other hand if you wonder about the interaction with other children that is something she does as normal as with her cousins or neighbors.
