Exploring the World of Macros: "Portraits of Snails and Insects"

Hello friends of the Photographers community❤

I want to share my experience in photographing macro photography which is quite challenging but very satisfying. This is my first time making a post in this community, so I really hope for guidance and input from senior @sergiomendes and all my friends.

The first photo is a portrait of a small snail walking on a leaf. This snail belongs to the species #Eobiana vermiculata, which is often found in gardens and damp areas. I was attracted to this snail because of its unique shape and slow movements, giving me the opportunity to capture every detail of its tiny body. These snails look like curious explorers, exploring the often overlooked world around us.

The second photo is an insect from the species #Bombylius major, or what is known as the Bee-fly. This insect caught my attention because of its striking color and its habit of sucking nectar from small flowers. I tried to capture the moment when this Bee-fly was busy with its activities in the wild flowers. Which provides beautiful color contrast in photos. This bee-fly, with its fine feathers and transparent wings, looks like a creature from another world interacting with the natural world around it.

In this shooting process I used an additional macro lens that I use on my smartphone to get good depth and sharp focus on the subject. The biggest challenge is keeping the camera stable and getting additional lighting to ensure maximum photo results.

I hope these photos can bring us closer to the beauty of the macro world that often escapes our everyday view. Each of these little creatures has its own uniqueness and beauty that is worth exploring and appreciating. I am very open to criticism and suggestions from all my friends to improve the quality of my photography results in the future.

Thank you for seeing my post, happy photo hunting and keep up the enthusiasm.

#Every corner has a story, and every story is worth sharing. Enjoy and keep exploring the beauty of nature! 🌿📸

OK hiver friends, those are some pictures that I can show to all my friends. I hope that these pictures can make you all visible and make them into beautiful pictures for us to see together. Thank you to all my friends who have supported me and encouraged me and so on. see you again in my next post.

NOTE: I first wrote the article above in Indonesian, which is my own language, then I translated it using English with the help of Goggle.

I have not moved yet, but I want to. Any other suggestions to move on Indonesia? Where it could be easy to move in if you only speak english? Or Bali is the most friendly for english speaking people? You can also use INLEO for microblogging like on Twitter. That is the best part. :D
