That time when everyone in the office rushed to Cox's Bazar

Memory: February, 2021

At that time, I was working as a marketing officer in a company. After working in the same place for five years, when suddenly the announcement came that the company would take everyone in the office to visit Cox's Bazar, believe me, our joy knew no bounds. It was not just a trip, it was a huge relief for us.

Day 1: That dance with waves and MD Sir:

We were crazy as soon as we landed in Cox's Bazar in the morning. We left our bags at the hotel and rushed to the beach. I was surprised to see the condition of those strict bosses in the office, the boss who would show his temper if we were even a minute late to the office, I saw him wrestling with the waves in a T-shirt. We also went no less, the way we were bathing in the sea, it was impossible to tell who was falling on whom due to the impact of the waves. Then we ran around in the sand and did a photo session with the bosses of that level.

At night, there was a program, VIP dinner and a DJ party.

That day, all the curtains were broken. I danced with our MD sir for about an hour straight. Forgetting about the marketing target, the day was just about dancing and having fun.

Day 2: Losing my life while climbing the mountain:

The next day, I set off in Chand's car. As soon as I started climbing the steep stairs of Himchhari, I immediately realized how rusty my body was. Halfway up, I started panting, as if I couldn't catch my breath, wondering why I had climbed up. But when I reached the very top and saw the vast sea below, all the pain disappeared in an instant.

After coming down from the mountain, we soaked ourselves in the spring water and went to Inani beach. I didn't realize how time passed, looking at the blue water of the sea and the small fish in the gaps between the rocks.

Day 3: Chatting with Rakhine girls, shopping and 5 kg of dried fish:

I kept the last day for shopping. After entering the Burmese market, I didn't want to leave. All the beautiful Rakhine girls were sitting in the shops there. I didn't realize when I became friends while chatting with them. Time passed in the blink of an eye, and I did a lot of shopping. I bought 5 kg of dried fish for home. I had fried rupchanda and tuna fish in the afternoon. This trip would have been incomplete if I hadn't gone to Cox's Bazar and tasted dried and marine fish.

That moment of staying up all night chatting:

The trip was three days, but our chat seemed to last forever. None of us slept all night. Sitting on the balcony of the hotel with colleagues, singing songs, laughing with each other, and those sleepless chats really united our team.

Today, five years later, when I look at these pictures, my chest feels heavy. I may never get those days back, but the memories of that smile and the salty sea water will forever be unforgettable in my mind. I don't work anymore. I don't even know where anyone is. I sometimes talk to my bosses, they still love me as much as before. But I have no contact with any of my colleagues, I don't know where they are or how they are, but I pray to God that they are all well, happy and at peace, that is my hope.

I hope you enjoy this journey.
