I adore such ecu's of insects, they are truly extraordinary little beings and you captured them so well.

FNQ is an extraordinary place isn't it! Hot, tiring work hefting the bunches of bananas on the plantations isn't it.

I lived up there for 6yrs and almost regret leaving...but I go back to see my mates every few years, so I sort of have the best of both worlds, between the heart of Melbourne and there

Did you get up to Cow Bay or anywhere in the Daintree at all?

Because I had no money haha I was completely stuck in Tully. Saving my wages. Went to some local spots, swimming spots, trekking but I imagine they were local spots. Came across one if those giant turkeys, proper went for me 😬

Yeah Tully's nice- though I wouldn't want to live there... a lot of rain though....but atleast its warm rain, especially compared to the cold rain in Scotland eh!

So was it an emu or a Cassowary that went for you, cause Cassowary's are gorgeous birds, but very territorial and emu's are just plain evil bastards...
