Windows 11 Bug gefixt: Widgets werden nicht angezeigt, wenn man auf den Widget-Button klickt.
Habe einen seltsamen Windows 11-Bug entdeckt.
Habe Windows 11 lokal ohne Internet-Verbindung installiert (via Device-Reset) und einen lokalen Account angelegt. Ja, das geht noch.
Danach habe ich mich mit dem Microsoft Account eingeloggt und alle Updates installiert.
Und dann ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Windows 11 Widgets nicht angezeigt werden, wenn man auf den Widget-Button klickt. Auch Windows-Taste + W und die Swipe-Geste haben nicht funktioniert.
Verwende die Widgets normalerweise nicht, da sie mich eher stören und deaktiviere sogar den Button, aber der Bug ist mir aufgefallen und ich wollte ihn beheben.

Mir ist aufgefallen, dass bei mir der "Windows Widgets"-Prozess nicht läuft.
Habe die empfohlenen Schritte der Reihe nach ausprobiert und erst der letzte Schritt, Edge WebView2 manuell zu installieren, hat das Problem dann behoben, obwohl die Installation einige Fehlermeldungen angezeigt hat.

Jetzt funktionieren die Widgets und ich kann den Button wieder ausblenden ;)

Found a strange Windows 11 bug.
Installed Windows 11 locally without internet connection (via Device Reset) and created a local account. Yes, that still works.
Then I logged in with my Microsoft account and installed all updates.
And then I noticed that the Windows 11 widgets are not displayed when clicking on the widget button. Windows key + W and the swipe gesture didn't work either.
Don't normally use the widgets as they tend to rather annoy me and even disable the button, but I noticed the bug and wanted to fix it.
Then I found this tutorial on the internet, to fix the problem:

I noticed that the "Windows Widgets" process is not running.
Tried the recommended steps in order and only the last step, installing Edge WebView2 manually, fixed the problem, although the installation showed some error messages.

Now the widgets are working as supposed and I can hide the button again ;)
