I have a 10 year old laptop with a SSD drive and a 1 year old laptop with normal HDD, and to be honest, I prefer the ten year old laptop... Feels way faster and better, simply because of the SDD (even though the specs are terrible in general). So, I would much rather have a small storage with great speed, than a HDD that makes the computer incredibly slow!

Thanks for sharing the experience and yes you are right that having a faster drive with less storage is better than more storage with low speed. I will surely consider it.
