You can get a lot for your money these days. I still don't have 12GB in any PC I use. I guess memory is cheap now. I don't own a laptop as I don't have a real need for one, but I expect I could find something cheap here.

For backup I mainly rely on sync to Google Drive, but I ought to have something else too.

        I'm surprised at what you can find in the cheap laptop department these days. The 12GB memory was what sold me.

        For backup I mainly rely on sync to Google Drive, but I ought to have something else too.

        I should but I'm just not comfortable with cloud anything right now. It is convenient though!
