Vitamin D and Mortality: Meta-analysis of Individual Participant Data from a Large Consortium of Cohort Studies from Europe and the United States
This article is a meta-analysis of eight prospective cohort studies that evaluated the effect of 25 OH vitamin D concentrations in all cause mortality, and mortality due to cardiovascular reasons or cancer. 25 OH vitamin D levels are definitely related to a reduced all cause mortality and cardiovascular mortality.
