Waning Moon Study ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ/ Estudio de luna en cuarto menguante๐ŸŒ“

Today I am making observations of the moon, and I decided to carry out a more in-depth study to determine which are the tides and the craters that can be visible in the "last quarter" phase, previously I made a post about the tides that are visible in the "full moon" phase, which is practically all of them, but with the disadvantage that the moon emits so much brightness that it is impossible to see all the details! So I decided to see each tide in detail following the lunation phases! starting with the last quarter that, as you can see, highlights the visibility of the (west) that on earth would be ours (east), so what do you think if we take some photos and try to discover the mysteries of these tides and craters!๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ๐ŸŒ“

A little about the last quarter๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ/ Un poco sobre el cuarto menguante๐Ÿ”ญ๐ŸŒ“

Of the four phases that the moon has, the waning quarter would be that phase where our natural satellite shows the "half of the illuminated disc" as you can see in the photo, we could define the lunar phases as the aspect that the moon acquires when makes its movement, but remember that we are the ones who designate these phases because from the earth we only have one angle to see the moon! I mean, it is impossible for us to see the side "that is not illuminated of the moon" and that is why we always see the same aspect of the moon, what varies is its size and its illumination during the year!๐Ÿงญ๐Ÿ”ญ๐ŸŒ“
๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ๐Ÿง

Best observation of craters in the (south)๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ/ Mejor observacion de crateres del (sur)๐Ÿ”ญ๐ŸŒ“

I have been studying the moon in depth for a few months and among my personal observations, for me this is the best phase to see the craters of the "south" of the moon, the illumination in this phase is not very high and it allows me to change monocular without affecting the quality of the image in this case goes from 20mm to 10mm, which would double the increase! the moon is not like our planet earth it does not have an atmosphere like ours and this for millions of years has affected its surface with thousands of meteor impacts NASA affirms that at the beginning of the moon it had erosion and volcanic activity and eliminated some traces of impacts!๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿงญ๐ŸŒ“
๐ŸŒ„๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŒ

What is this lunar phase due to?๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ/ A que se debe esta fase lunar๐Ÿ”ญ๐ŸŒ“

It is said that the last quarter phase is one of the most important of the moon! let's imagine the sun, the moon and the earth our star when it emits the sun's rays the moon and the earth have an inclination of "90 degrees" as there is an angle of 90 degrees so from the earth "we can only see half of the satellite illuminated" and it is so astronomically explaining why the moon turns in the waning quarter! I bet you asked yourself but why do I see the moon at another angle in my city??? it's possible if you are from the southern hemisphere then you can't see the left side of the moon like me! On the contrary, you would see the right side, that is, where the tide of fertility and the tide of nectar are!๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
๐Ÿ’ฅ๐ŸŒ“๐Ÿงญ

When to see it?๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ/ cuando verla??๐Ÿ”ญ๐ŸŒ“

Is the first quarter similar to the last quarter? actually it would be the opposite! let's see if we want to see our waning quarter moon at the most vertical point in the sky then we should see it at 6:00 since at "0" hours it begins to appear, to be more precise in a period of 3 days we can see our satellite in the morning and at dawn perfectly, astronomers have determined that the best months to see our satellite in the last quarter would be September and November, and it is not recommended to study it between March and May, that is, I am not in the recommended month!โ˜„๐ŸŒ ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ”ญ๐Ÿงญ

Observation of tides and craters๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ/ observacion de crateres y mareas๐Ÿ”ญ๐ŸŒ“

Surely you thought tides on the moon? not the correct term is "mare" and practically marks on the lunar surface left by meteorite impacts, it is also believed that these "basins" were filled with lava, but previously astronomers thought they were true tides so the name was never changed and instead "mare" was placed as you can see in the photo we highlight in the northern hemisphere the observation of "mare frigoris" this sea has more than "1500 kilometers" and is more to the north pole of the moon in our case it would be to south!๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ
๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ”ญ๐Ÿ”ญ๐ŸŒ“

Then we can clearly see the "imbrium" sea, which is nothing more and nothing less than the second largest sea on the moon and was formed by what is believed to be the "(4) largest meteor impact that the moon had in its entirety"."history"! I would say that it is the most famous sea on the moon because inside there is another crater called "arquimides (4)", another sea that we can clearly see in the last quarter is the "mare serenitatis (4)" this is where the apollo "17 landed so it is also famous!(4)"๐Ÿ‘ณโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿง”
๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿ›ฐ

This is the most exciting thing you will see! It is a super photo that I took with the 4mm monocular and we clearly see the place where Apollo 15 landed, apparently according to what I compare with the NASA photos it was in a clean area next to some "mountains"๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ”ญ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Funny enough ,what i only know about the moon just before now is - crescent, new moon and full moon. But now I have been impacted and I have added to my knowledge. Great observation
