The Life of an engineer

Hey,

This is actually going to be my first post on steemgeeks.net

So what is New age #nerds, we are a conglomeration of smaller companies with different focuses. About a week or so ago #Nanco Aero our #EVTOL division was invited to the Drones & Robotics Summit in #Houstion #Texas. We came understanding that we would be outclassed as many of the companies having sales and investors on their products, but you have to start from somewhere. We have some awesome videos of the competition and their products.

What we have are #prototype designs of what we will be attempting to scale up over the next few years, as of right now we are able to produce toy sized drones that we are using to teach basic concepts in robotics, programming and design development in #steam education for kids, allowing them to develop and test 100% their own creations and designs.

Overtime we are hoping to scale up in our 3D printed platform to delivery and passenger drones, Its going to be a long journey until then but there is no stopping. We'll have to keep running the circuits, continue working and educating the generations of engineers untill we can grab the investments necessary to scale up.

As we continue to #innovate and scale or processes its our plan to let you guys in on the process so until then we will have to leave you guys with these images and pictures.

Our drones and their receivers are all 3D printed allowing us to cut down on parts as the chassis and propeller ports are all one piece, if something breaks or cracks on it is something that can be fixed or replaced at a low cost with it only costing about $50 to print out a new drone body.

Coming into this new era of American manufacturing and Do-it-yourself trends we are expecting to see this form of developing technology products to accelerate. Simple to do and cheap to make if you have access to the right tools and know how.

The only major issue we had in the process was the propellers we attempted to 3D print these out yet the resolution wasn't fine enough, so we are having to resort to liquid 3D printing allowing us to get the correct lift from them at around an 8k-16k resolution.

It was my plan to include a video here but looks like I will have to post that separately from Threespeak so keep on the look out
