CONSTRUCTING PENTAGON USING SQUARE

It is my pleasure to be on this platform. Am here to explain how to construct a pentagon using square method. This is very easy construction which do not take stress at all. To start, you will draw your square with equal length

, then divide the square diagonally. From the point of intersection between the diagonal line measure it to the top of the square and do it equally from 4 to 7

. The point of intersection is marked 4 while the rest to the top are marked 5,6,7. So you put your compass on your number 5 since you are dealing with pentagon with five sides, to the edge of the square and construct a circle

. The same measurement of the base of the square used it to Mark round the circle, join the point together

, you will get your pentagon construction
