Is Oneplus the same following the merger with Oppo?
I was browsing for a phone when I came across the Oneplus Nord 2, and after doing research online, I discovered Oneplus and Oppo merger and its impact on oxygen OS that I truly enjoyed.
I really liked oneplus Nord 2 but decided not buy becasue of color Os and oxygen Os merger.
It felt like I was buying an Oppo phone in the name of oneplus, and I really don't want to buy any phone from the BBK group ,(though oneplus is part of the BBK group as far as I know, it was different from others because of its software, which was amazing and a selling point for me atleat) some of my friends bought Oppo phones because it was cheaper than other brands (e.g. Samsung, Google, and Apple) and the experience with the phones where not as good and i really didn't like the software.
So Oneplus was something I would consider when purchasing a phone and could suggest to others, but now it appears that Samsung, Google, and Apple are the only options for me atleast.
