Let's have a look at the Step by Step instructions to Solve the Maths Brain Teasers 112 :: Can You - Find the ODD One Out?

If you carefully look at the Image in question; You would have noticed the following pattern is being followed::

The logic was::

The Numbers are obtained by Adding pairs of digits; for example::

571219

5 + 7 = 12 + 7 = 19 ; the same sequence cannot be made with number:: 971613

It would rather be::

9 + 7 = 16 + 13 = 7 + 16 = 23; therefore the correct number would have been::

971623

I did like to echo here the efforts of @emeka4 in solving the puzzle via the diagrammatic representation::

1/7 = ~.14

  • 7 = ~7.14
    7+7=14
    ~7.14 * 14 = 100

Hi,
My solution to the problem is
(7+1/7)(7+7)=100

And this is how I reached the final solution,

7 x 7 + 7 x 7 +1+1 = 100
ie ( 7 x 7 + 1 ) x 2
ie ( 7 x 7 +1 ) x [( 7 + 7) / 7]
ie [(7 x 7 + 1)/ 7 ] x ( 7 + 7 )
ie ( 7 + 1/7 ) x ( 7 + 7 ) = 100
which is final result.
