Las raíces son comestibles así como algunos tubérculos como el ñame, la papá, malanga, boniato, yuca entre otro sinfín de especies, nos dan hongos como las trufas, y nos oxigenan las tierras, como el frijolillo que es un fijador de nitrógeno a los suelos así como la gran mayoría de leguminosas, así que disfruten las raíces ellas son un tesoro.

Roots are edible, as well as some tubers like yams, potatoes, taro, sweet potatoes, cassava, and countless other species.
