Milky Way Watch Party
As I've shared in previous posts like this one:

I'm a big fan of the monthly "What's Up NASA?" video series created by the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). One thing I've been looking forward to is seeing the Milky Way during this month.
Which means, I've decided to plan a Milky Way Watch Party with my family during the New Moon phase. The video says to look to the south once the sky is fully dark. Best viewing is away from urban areas and light pollution. This is where living in the countryside where darkness is easy to come by will make for great viewing....as long as we don't get a cloud covered night. Which has happened in the past. Crossing my fingers we will have at least one clear night during the New Moon.(Screenshot of Moon Phases during July 2023 What's Up NASA? video by JPL)
I am posting the time code to the exact point in the What's Up NASA? video which explains why this month is ideal for Milky Way viewing.
Are you planning something special to capture the Milky Way in all of it's celestial glory?
I've always been in love with astronomy, since I was little, my dream was to have a telescope, I kept looking at the stars, studying the constellations to find in the sky, I love astronomy from the heart, congratulations on the content. 😍
The night sky is magical. Happy night sky watching!
