CSG 2
SpaceX is launching Cosmo-Skymed Second Generation 2 for the Italian Space Agency to Sun-synchronous orbit.
The booster is on its third mission. It will launch from Space Launch Complex 40, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. The booster will return to land instead landing far out in the ocean on a barge. That means it will be possible to observe the booster from launch to landing - including return maneuvres.
CSG 2 is an Earth observation satellite and join CSG 1 in the SAOCOM constellation. The second generation satellite is an upgrade to the already 10 year old first generation.
