Windows 11 Leaving Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer is a browser by Microsoft that was released with windows 95. Its a browser that is over 20 years old however there have been many updates to make it more stable and easy to use for users. My first internet browsing was started with internet explorer year 2004 and at that time there was a very last option when it comes to Internet browsing. When Google Chrome was not available at that time and it was released a couple of years later. I have seen the Internet explorer browser growing and getting updates with various new functionalities. With the passage of time, it became much better undoubtedly it was one of the favourite browsers for Windows users.

Microsoft has already released its browser I am not with the recent version of Windows 11 they are leaving Internet explorer away and focusing on Edge browser. So finally with windows 11 we will not be having IE and if we want to use windows browser then Edge i the only option and I like this new browser. Edge is quite fast and comes with many useful features that other browsers like Chrome or Mozilla offer.

Microsoft revealed that Internet Explorer would be "disabled" on Windows 11. Earlier, I was concerned that it would mean that Internet Explorer might stay ahead of the last nail in its coffin on June 15, 2022, but it's disappearing entirely from Windows 11. "The Internet Explorer 11 desktop application will not be available on Windows 11. Microsoft Edge is the default browser for Windows 11," explained a Microsoft spokesperson to The Verge. "The MSHTML engine exists as part of the Windows 11 operating system to power IE mode in Microsoft Edge."

Nowadays we have many options with browsers and I mostly use Brave and chrome for my personal use and edge I use on office laptop more because I only have the option to use either Edge or Chrome. I prefer to use edge for opening pdf files because it works faster than adobe reader. I don't get multiple device syn option with edge and I am not sure if its available with it because I don't use Edge on my other devices like my personal laptop and phone but with Chrom and brave I use these features and it works great. With the sync feature, I get all my browsing history, passwords, bookmarks, etc gets updated all the time.

There is a lot of completion with the browser segment and Brave has been doing amazing work to make things not just faster but also, safer and rewarding. I hope if Microsoft adopts a similar way like brave do then it can surely get more users and since better safety and rewarding experience will bring more users on their edge browser.

This is the first time when Microsoft has finally decided to leave the internet explorer browser and kind of replace it with their latest one Edge. Not everyone is so tech-savvy so I hope that there would many users still be using IE for their browsing needs and now they would have to make a switch to the new edge. Since I have already started using Edge and I don't know when I will get windows upgraded so is not a big difference for me.

Thank you so much
