Upgraded IPTV to Android Set top Box

I was using IPTV for almost a year and stopped using satellite television services. I used to have Tata sky satellite tv service but it seemed to bit expensive and even there were very limited packs and channels within medium budget. Switching to IPTV was a good decision as I was able to get more channels and services at a lower fee. This comes with my internet plan and if I minus the internet charges then it cost me very little.

Although IPTV was good there was also some problem with its reboot because it used to take about 30-4 minutes for the first start in the day and sometimes it was not so much fun. I asked my service provider to upgrade the services and they suggested going for this device as it works the best and offers seamless tv and entertainment experience. This smart device is quite advanced and offers high-definition channels where I also get to access OTT apps within this and best of all its booting is so fast that hardly takes a few seconds. Even its remote is nice and offers some shortcut buttons for Netflix, Prime Videos, Youtube, etc so I can jump to these within just a single press.

I mostly watch youtube, prime video, and wi-bro so these options are handy and save time to switch within seconds. Wi-bro offers television channels and that too in HD quality. I don't have the Netflix subscription as of now but if I have later then I can access this and it will be easy too. Sharing some images to see how this device and remote looking like and let me add that this is so small in size and does not need more space to get installed.

There are two ways that can be used to connect this device to TV including HDMI and LAN wire set-up. Since I got it installed near my TV so I got it done through the wire because it will provide higher internet speed as compared to wireless.

This set was done in about 10 minutes and the user experince is pretty good. SInce its powered by android so I get a play store where I can install android TV and OTT apps. More of its experience is similar to mobile and quality is very nice. I also get the option to record TV channels and I have opted for a combined plan that offers me TV along with 100 MBPS internet and its cost is INR 1000 which is about $15 so its worth it. I am yet to experience more of it and will probably share another post sharing my experience with this smart android device.
