Telegram Rolled out Group Video calling Feature

Telegram is one of the most popular social media messaging platforms. Whatsapp is the best one in this range and its the leader but telegram is also getting more popularity. Infact telegram offers so many features that are not yet available on other platforms. I have been using telegram for last 3 years approx and its much needed messenger when it comes to crypto. Along with twitter telegram is another needed and highly important tool in crypto because almost every project has their group on telegram. Telegram got more popularity when whatapp privacy issue was started and that time people started moving to telegram because there is no such privacy issue.

Earlier these messenger apps were started with features including chat and options to share media content with ease. With the passage of time they kept on adding many other innovative features that made the platform much more stable and fun to use. Later calling was such a great move which was started by whatsapp first and telegram also did the same. When we got used to have audio calling then next move was video calling and now its available with almost all the messgener apps. Now taking one more step further group video calling is getting rolled out with telegram and with whatsapp its already available. It seems like telegram has been following whatsapp closely and whatever they bring on the place for their users , telegram also does the same down the line.

On tablets and desktop, video calls will appear in a large, split-screen view of the video grid along with the list of participants. Group video calls will also open in a separate window, allowing users to do other things without minimizing the video call. Telegram has gone step forward they have made the group video calling available on mobile app as well as tablet and desktop. Its same like we do call using zoom and google meet. Currently Whatsapp support video calling only on mobile apps and soon they will make it available for pc but telegram has done it before them.

With the pandemic situation, working from home is new normal and doing video calls with team and people is need. Although teleram is slightly behind but still its going to help so many telegram users and people will be able to connect with their near and dear one using new group video calling by Telegram.

I am yet to use it but will check this out soon and will see how it works. I think that it will be mostly used by individual because for office needs Microsoft team is already there and since its integrated with outlook so I don think any other app can replace it.
