One morning, I saw the Parkeri family
I saw some Parker's thread-waisted wasps (Prionyx parkeri) clinging to the grass stalks that morning as the sun had not yet reached its highest point on the eastern horizon and the dew was still sticking to the grass.
I believe they have just awakened from sleep. It is evident from the actions of those who refuse to move from their place, notwithstanding the presence of someone who is annoying—perhaps that was their mind, but I didn't want to come across as annoying. Perhaps a friend dropped by to wish them "good morning."
Not just on the grass and plants, the dew is also still adhered to their adorable eyes. Maybe it will just disappear when the sun really stings soon.
The smallest of them is this one. Is that a juvenile wasp? I believe it to be a male. Since this is common in insects, a male is smaller than a female. However, this is only my opinion, so it could be incorrect.
After really saying "Good morning" to them, I left right away. Of course, I had taken pictures of them with my smartphone camera before that.
