Another day, Another peice or CG art coming your way !

My inspiration behind creating this piece was just to show much addicted we are now using technology, Everyone is busy staring at their phone losing communication to the world around it.

So i got inspired to create a world of my imagination.

as an old school guy, I do miss the old guys before cellphone was created, Simple time were people sit and talk and laugh without any distractions.

Cool concept. Did you leave it monotone to be gloomy? I'm curious how colour would look and whether it would change the "feel".

I view technology in a non-defeatist way.
That the device is the link to that greater world which we could have never connected to prior to device. After all, the "organism" of city is innate without each human as the cells which give it life. It's why 'smart cities' is the system which is now in early stages, in some cities, already in effect. Thus Govs all over the world are seeking to push humans all into the digital space/systems.

I've always seen MIND as the asset of each human. Body and social interaction was/is the frontier for the system of civilisation. However that was/is limiting. We can now connect as a global collective. Far into the future we will connect as an intergalactic species.

If we then push further and further into technology and the merging of the two: Biology + Technology then we have not failed (or devolved), on the contrary, whe likely achieve immortality and have ability to explore the entire cosmos. Transhumanism.

A privilege of future humans of course.
However, consciousness is immortal (IMO).
So I exist there already. I'll just need to figure out how to "rewake" into that future. This is not hyperbole either, we already do exist aware and in tune to this very system of existence.

When we sleep: We Return To The Forever.
When we wake: We Force Conditioning.
When we wake: We return to "Frame of Time"
When we wake: We return to "Being Human"

for the colors, I wanted to keep it simple and classy, Color's will def change the mood and made it into more cartoony happy - ish vibe which is for me would kill the idea, I kept black and white and gold to make the image look elegant :)

i do agree with you we are heading to tech future, I am pretty sure in some lab somewhere people are already trying to mixing Humans and Robots together, Lets see where life will take us in the next 10 years, Cant wait to have the futuristic life :)

Yeah the world is moving fast and this 2020 "lock year" truly feels like the dawn of that new digital age. I like the movie Chappie but that might be too fairytale. The world is getting dark with authoritarian govs responding to people protesting and questioning all over the world.

sadly year '2020 ' has been something really odd and confusing, Many people are feeling lost and not sure what to do in their lives. But def technology is expanding in front of our eyes for sure.

its more and more start to feel like a one of these dark Sci fi movies where technology and robots controls everything we eat, feel, and even think .

i am not sure how this will end but i am sure it wont be within these years

You're spot on man.
2020 is beginning of Dystopia.
I didn't want to say it before because you seemed optimistic so I didn't want to go dark.. but you are very right, that this is affecting humanity is some negative ways. I see many struggling with the mental journey because the Media is part of that bombardment. It's essentially a long game of CORPORATIONS v THE PEOPLE. Gov the Umpire (which is really on the side of CORP).

Take care of yourself and those that matter to you I think is the priority. Not saying not to care for others, because we all need to look out for each other but like you point out... the years ahead are likely to bring more hardship. Stay safe!

Looks kind of like sim city on my phone before I deleted it 😆 (I didn’t get up to having airports, got too impatient with how long it took to unlock things, nobody messes up my planning in such ridiculous ways 😜)

I love the little clouds 😆 and really good for the breakdown and close up shots, looks like there’s quite a bit going on that’s really easy to miss in the final 🙃

heheh, yaaa actually Sim City was one of on my mind creating this one, I love putting small detials here and there, but sometimes in the final image people wont notice it.

I feel like the little details we put into things might not be noticed by other people but their absence would really be noticed :)

I liked the pc version of SimCity from however long ago it was, I've played both the original and one of the followups (but don't remember which one, pretty sure there were a couple). Really didn't like the mobile version XD

I will need to give it a try and test out that game :D

I love putting these small details even though sometimes people don't see it but in a way it adds in small details here and there which make the final image rich

friend I really like this. Besides the irony of the proposal.
This reminded me of the moments of drama when I took classes where they taught us how to handle MAYA - I think I have already forgotten a lot but they were fun times-

Hehe. I think you should discover maya a bit more. Sadly I have no drawing skills so I use my imagination to create my images in Maya and 3D

I keep the drawing hahaha. MAYA gave me a lot of headaches, maybe because at that time I didn't have the necessary tools. It seems fabulous to me but I am more of the 2D

I feel you. In the beginning I was like that, I think maybe it need some practice time and patient.

But I think in the end its a mater of taste. Some people like 2D and some people like 3D
