It is no doubt that without the acquisition of knowledge from our various schools and teachers me writting this post and you reading through my Post right now would have been a serious challenge. I understand clearly that education isn't really meant for the specification of knowledge acquisition only but it serves as a platform where we invest with the expectations of reaping tomorrow through Jobs that education serves as the main source key.

We referred to something being a scam when the goal or aim of that thing is defeated or turns out to be false after exertion of effort over such a thing. To my little understanding, Education has several goals but basically the two I mentioned above. If at all these goals ain't the result anymore then education is said to be a scam or waste of time.
Unlike other countries where these two goals of education are enormously achieved in my country I will say reverse is the case, if only one side of these goals is achieved the other side goes licking which is very bad and it is not supposed to be so. The two goals I highlighted about education walks hand in hand with each other that when one isn't available the other one is affected or corrupted let me explain what I mean.
We've seen allot of graduates that have sound knowledge and are very bright upstairs but aren't employed and cannot afford cash to pay their bills despite they're done with school, here knowledge is acquired but the other benefit of reaping through Jobs isn't available. There are people with very good Jobs but cannot stand in public to talk because of poor educational background or lack of good knowledge. But the standard benefit of education is for you to secure knowledge and have a platform to use your knowledge and provide food for yourself and the family. My country Nigeria is a very good example of these misfortunes of educational benefits, you will find graduates without jobs to cater for themselves or you will find people without the knowledge but are occupying those high positions in offices that doesn't fits them but nobody will stand against that because of a corrupted system of living in my country. These has left youths in the country with no option than viewing education as a waste of time and resources which in there case it's true.
The one good benefit of acquisition of knowledge is gradually defeated through the nonchalant attitude of government towards Education. Its over 10weeks of Industrial Action by the body of staffs of Nigeria Universities (ASUU), students cannot longer go to school and the government has failed to meet the demands for this Industrial Action to be resolved now four years course is metamorphosing into six years and after all this struggles you will come down looking for jobs again with your certificates to find none. This is a great level of educational failure in my country Nigeria, the current situation has made allot of youths in my country loose interest in going to school again, people don't longer benefit with their certificate rather hand work is prominently the source of food on the table now so why won't we regard it has scam when a graduate will finish school with his or her first class and then come back to be a sales person in boutiques and shops..

Well, to every problem lies a solution and I think the best solution to this nemesis is eradicating bad governance. Education is very important but bad governance have made us think it isn't.
It is also a result of poor governance that our educational sector in Nigeria isn't straight forward any longer. You will go to school where courses like Microbiology exist and other courses as such but in the whole country finding research labs and places where graduates from these courses can use their knowledge is very hard to find or not at all. It will take a government that puts education as a priority to be able to manage these problems or these issues will continue birthing more complicated issues specially in our country Nigeria.
Thank you for your time and attention, reading through my Post.

Bad governance makes education seems like a scam because the citizens are passing tough times. Bad leaders are in every parastatals and this is a major problems in the financial world today.

The government on their own are not even helping matters. The incessant strikes are making more and more students give up on the system. I wonder how long this can go on for.
Thank you for sharing this with us.

P.S: A quick suggestion though, when making your posts, you can try using the double space feature. That is giving an extra line between paragraphs. It gives your post a neater look and makes it easier to read.
Just a suggestion, seeing as we are all learning here.
