The Truth About Inventions.

I do not think, neither do I believe that this great and amazing minds that invent things should be blamed when their inventions are being used for purposes other than what they were made for. The people who take these things and misuse it should receive the blame.

Thinking about most of these inventions now, it's very obvious they were invented as a solution to solve problems and make life easier for us. And I don't think any this inventors invented what we make us of today with the hope of harming us or constituting more nuisance to the society. But the thing about these inventions is that, maybe they don't really have full control over it, once it's out of the lab/invention room and now enters the society.

The people who make use of it are in control, two people can have same tool in hand and use it different ways, in short it all sums up back to those who make use of the invention. Take a phone for example. Phone's were invented to make communication easier, to connect easily, to learn and all, but today, same phone ai now being used to spread lies, harass people, scam other's and commit various atrocities. So are we saying the inventors of phone should be blamed for thinking of a way to make life easier, and if we blame them are we now saying phones should be banned? We all know the good our phones is doing for us, and we know what would be at risk if phones were to go into extinction. So, it's never about the tool, but the intention of the user.

And the same goes to medicines too, they were invented to heal, relieve pain, save lives and all, but now, we have people who are misusing and abusing it. So, are we going to blame this scientists and pharmacist who want to help us live better, or find cure for us when we fall sick. There was a time I heard people have gotten so addicted to certain things and they go to the extent of sniffing these gums plumbers use just so to get high. Tell me, what was gum invented for, wa sit to be sniffed. Am just saying it's not really about what the inventions really are, but it all sums up back to the users and how they make use of it.

Take a knife for instance, it is a tool, and on its own it can't decide to harm anyone. It is being used in the kitchen, and it's being used during violence too. The difference is the user and what they use it for. So, it's not about the inventor, but the user. But then, maybe if there are more strict laws and regulations that will control the distribution and usage of things being invented.

In conclusion, we can't blame inventors for huma misuse. Those who should be blamed and take responsibilities for it are those who choose to do harm with the invention.

most of the time, it's not the inventors or their invntions, but when place in the wrong hand and mind, so the bad users are to blame.
