The Influence Of Age & Technology In Seeking Financial Validation

Inexposure might be the mother of ignorance. But sometimes I blame society, the geographical location, and the system around people to be the cause of this even before I begin to blame or question the foundational upbringing of a young person. Darkness and ignorance create a negative ripple effect, it starts from the top and spreads to the grassroots.

This is why it took so many African countries a long time to attain a stage of enlightenment that's necessary for their growth and development and of course this would spread through the diverse institutions and affect the future of the younger ones who are supposed to fast track the spread of change in the future.

In Introspection

When I was younger, the world and the kids around me were happy to make unguided decisions and you could blame this on the lack of exposure of their parents and the inability of the society around them to act as a secondary source of enlightenment and education. Sometimes I look at my peers and most of us only began to make better choices in our early 20s.

I know of a guy who used his teenage years to play only football, he didn't have an education, (this isn't bad because education isn't the only ingredient to establishing a person) but it is bad because his footballing passion wasn't nurtured by anyone around him, he wasn't enlightened on how to polish and activate his ability to become a good career choice and he ended up losing all the opportunity that time that being young affords people.

However, he started making better choices in his mid-20s, but the reality of the situation is that he cannot afford the mistakes that he could have when he was younger and the pressure to always get it right is there because he's spent his younger years getting it wrong. Generally, we often admit that anyone can accomplish anything at any age, but while this seems true on the surface, I think it's more of a motivational outlet to remind people that they can do the unthinkable if they set their minds to it.

However, we all know that human life's limited hence, we're often forced to tie some certain life accomplishments to our ages, in other to bask in delight and pride.

This is why you see people saying "oh I got my Ph.D. at 20", I bought my first car at 19, I became a millionaire at 18, then a billionaire by 25.

Celebrating The Early Money

This is often celebrated because we understand the fact that the earlier we can accomplish things, the more we can have time to enjoy it. A person who became a millionaire at 50, would be considered less off an accomplishment because the time they have is now limited.

It's coming to a point where people are now racing against time and while this isn't necessarily great, I'll fault this on the fact that we understand the influence of time on our abilities and the degree of productivity we can actually offer. Back in the day, people could retire at 70, but these days people are retiring at 50, because of how time has enabled them to accomplish some of their important financial goals. We need to also understand that this hasn't come without its disadvantages.

Age, Time & Wealth

As the world becomes more inorganic, people lose their ability to live longer because of the side effect of being excessively technologicalized. However, having wealth is dependent on time, because we need the age to enjoy it. The jet age has begun its fast tracking, encouraging people who are young to accomplish unimaginable feats.

The world is moving at a higher speed and it's changing people beyond their expectations. For people to develop, they need access to information and at this time and speed where access to the internet is becoming cheaper, people are now closer to having the ingredients they need to develop even faster than they'll choose.

I feel that kids who would be born in 10 to 20 years, will experience the maximum exposure from a young age, which inevitably makes them lead better lives. A lot of people would blame their delinquent choices on ignorance and inexperience and this might be true.

The downside to this is no matter how far we've come, being excessively exposed to numerous choices might still have the same consequences as having no choice at all

How So?

The Consequences Of Progression

This is to say that the world becoming progressive would bring its consequences too, There are many reasons why we're limited by sickness and death even if we're not limited in the power of our imaginations, it means that as long as our consciousness remains intact, we can create endless possibilities in our mind, but the age limit we have would never allow us to enact it.

We're tipping the edge to becoming god-like, becoming smarter and better equipped to turn life into our mini paradise. This means we'd continuously set and break standards. At the end of the day, we still have to appreciate the generation we are and how its influence will give younger people the choices they need in life to do better.

Wow, this is so true about the influence of age and technology. Take for instance my humble self, I began to use phone when I was about to enter the university. I didn't have the privilege of getting some important exposure through technology on time due to my family financial status and this limited alot of things about my life. It wasn't easy for me trying to catch up with the happenings around me.

Coming to hive , I see a lot of people still seeking for an admission here, alot of undergraduate sponsoring themselves through their earning here . These are young people oo, 16, 17, years etc. And I began to ask myself series of questions.
How did this people get to know all these info at this age?
At what age did they have access to the internet and phone? A lot of questions but then...I have come to realize that the world is changing and just like you said, in 10 years to come, we will even experience a mega change in the life of children regarding this technology.

My kids of 7 years and 4 years are already surprising me with the level of info they have and I can't help but accept that things are changing for good.

It's not even just tech, children of nowadays are experiencing growth even biologically more than we use to have. It's like the human race in general is succumbing to the pace of change that's being cultivated by the universe. As for technology, we are already seeing prodigies in all aspects of life.
When I have kids, I intend to prepare them adequately for the tech age because they wouldn't be left behind like I was. Irrespective, change is good but we have to trickle it down.
As for 16 year olds of nowadays, I think in years to come we might even be shocked at how far they can go

How did this people get to know all these info at this age?

Ma'am, it amazes me too because during my own time, I no get such opportunity most people have. Right now, I am trying my best to gain enough info and exposure to make me grow.

If you see my younger sister, you won't believe she is my blood. The kind of exposure she has today, I am even envying her because we didn't live together for long. She was staying with my rich and educated aunt while I stayed with my uneducated parents. There is difference na 😂😂

People tend to think in the short-term and they don't really consider what will happen in the future. It's not a surprise when there is social media and people are trying to make themselves look better online too. In a way, there are a lot of things people don't know and it's not a bad idea to branch out every now and then.

Well I wouldn't fault the masses who tend to look at the present. The truth is, we're existing in the present and this is why we'll let more emphasis on the present, I think it's how we are.

Because of how fast the world is moving, most parents should be more prepared because these children that are coming will need more guidance as they won't be needing any permission to be exposed to certain things as these things will be almost everywhere.

Once it comes to training a new human (children) most parents tend to train them with the way they were trained and it is not supposed to be so. Parents should be more exposed to the age they are and apply the experience they have to give their children the proper training they require.

The world keeps evolving in seconds and the truth is, this evolution will affect the young minds more and that is why we always have people that have move from decades to decades to guide these minds. I hope that our parents, guardians and even we the upcoming parents also prepare our minds towards what's coming.

Well, this is true, the change we've seen would be superceded by the one we'll eventually see and this is why we must be careful how we're succumbing to change without looking back or taking a pause. Nevertheless, technology is awesome, the truth is people will suffer less and more opportunities will be created with the kind of change we'll see in the future and this is likely to influence us the way we want it. As for the younger ones to come, future parents have a lot of work to do.

Indeed, the future seems really promising with all the technology coming up. As the world keeps changing, I feel that so many norms and culture will change, because I feel that the development of technology is bringing the world together even as it's pulling us away.

Well, it's a good thing we are seeing these things, we just hope that we don't decide to remain in one place but keep learning and growing so we can impact well on others.

If you attach so much importance to your goals in a tiny timeframe of your life. You need to detach from them because you cannot move forward.

Your first paragraph.... I totally relate to it.
Society could be blamed more in my own opinion. Let me cite an example.

Where I live at, the environment is kind of so local and I could remember sitting outside with groups of friends discussing how this environment has negatively affected many of us. Here, they mostly speak their local dialect (Yoruba with some hard intonation) and even if you speak to them in English, they would reply you in their dialect.

This place isn't exposed and it has really done damage to me being a student in the school. In fact, lecturers and school management aren't doing a good thing to inculcate good communication, rather in their local dialect. Can you see?

This definitely would limit one and wouldn't make us exposed to some things that should help us grow. And when you see another person from different background or society, you start wondering if you are still on this same planet.

My result is what is still keeping me here, if not, I would have Japa from this environment.

Many times, society and environment adds to one's life in the aspect of growing and getting more exposed to something that could pave way for you.

I can understand the area where you live. Some of these places makes it difficult to see the development that's generally happening around the world and following suit as well. The society plays a huge role in the primary development of the people living in it, this also entails opportunities and exposure that is needed to groom a person, but sadly most places aren't exposed enough. There's always a huge difference when we go to places that would exposure us to opportunities and more learning situations, it's why people in different areas can vary in knowledge because what they're exposed to is quite different.

My result is what is still keeping me here, if not, I would have Japa from this environment.

Hopefully you'll get to leave as soon as possible, and seek for an environment that will challenge you to seek better opportunities as well. I wish you all the luck

Thanks for the curation.

That is it! Society is a big factor to growing and learning to upgrade one's life and if such society fails in such aspect, it becomes difficult for such a person to expand his or her horizon.

There are some environment and societies that challenges someone to thrive better and be the best, whereas, some do not.

Thanks so much too.

I can relate to some of this points as I have encountered them in my life. Due to not really getting proper guidance from their parents and other people who are related to them many have lost their way in life and now they are living for the sake of surviving. If only they were nurtured wisely, these people could have created history maybe not for nation but probably for their family and others.

I can only say that when I started giving my time in Internet/crypto or whatever I call it, I was very much neglected. In fact from my family members I had listen words which were not really expected. But I can not blame them because the main stream media has corrupted the minds of people who have no idea about this world. They have mitigated the situation as if if you are doing something using internet, it is considered bad. But luckily it took some time for my parents in early days to see what I was actually doing and now they got the valid reason of not really panicking in these sort of situations.

While I am not sure, when will I become a millionaire or even if I will become a millionaire but all I can say is I am loving my life as of now. Yes, some improvements would be better and I am working towards that path. Lets not mix up money and life together. Yes both are essentials but without a good night sleep what will I do with all that money. It is a topic of debate but I am just sharing my POV.

have a nice day bud!

Thank you for that comment, I think I can relate with the way it works in some countries. I feel that having a society that's misguided can cause ignorance for the citizenry at large.
As for me, when I ventured into Crypto it was because I had no visible opportunities around me and my family weren't even bothered because much wasn't expected of me until it became totally different for me. I think the next generation can do well to actually educate younger people, show them a different path to becoming better. As for me, I might never become a millionaire as well, but I'm grateful for the enlightenment that crypto has brought to me thus far. I believe if people can do better in life, the society around them has a primary role to actually play.
