My favorite technology

It is a great day to write about my favorite Technological Advancement because the way I have been so grateful for some specific technological items because of how well it has served me these past few weeks.
Before I dive right into telling you what these pieces of equipment are, take a look at the question as posed by the community

Over the years, the world has gone through various technological changes in almost every sphere of life. Some of these are good while affecting us in negative ways. Tell us about your favorite technological advancement today.

In Nigeria, specifically Lagos states we have been getting news about the collapsed electrical grid, which has led to the unavailability of light and power. It has been so annoying. When I moved to my estate, I was promised over 20 hours of light daily and they have somehow kept the promise to an extent that I almost forgot I had a generator but these few weeks I have used my generator so much than I have used it in months and I cannot be anything but grateful for the invention of generators.

Over the years generators had advanced in looks and portability, I use to have serious problems with the sounds from them, I called it noise pollution but now almost silent generators are being produced. I even hated the idea of dragging the rope of the generator just to get it started, till the invention of keys as starters.

Aside from generators which are one of my favorite technological advancements the next on my list is THE WASHING MACHINE, gone are the days when I have to sit for hours using my hands to scrub and wash my clothes and bedsheets. I didn’t mind the stress because I was still single but having a child is a different case.

Since my son started crawling and rolling on the floor, I get to change his clothes more often than usual. Last month my washing machine got bad and we had to take it out for repair and it took over 2 weeks for the repair to be done. It wasn’t easy at all, I didn’t appreciate the amazingness of a washing machine till those few weeks. So I am super grateful to the inventors of the washing machines too.

As generators advanced over the years so did washing machines, from just having a manual washing machine where you have to fill the water yourself and rinse the clothes yourself, to the automatic machine where all you need to do is put in the clothes and detergent and everything from washing, spinning, drying would be sole handles by the machine.

I love a lot of technological advancements but the 2 Favorite that has served me so well these past few months are my GENERATOR AND WASHING MACHINE💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻
