Do Movies and Novels cause of couple fights?
Marriage is a beautiful relationship and we expect a lot from our partner. Romantic movies and novels raise the bar of expectations between partners.
But is this a correct statement or it's just an overrated thing? We do understand a couple wanna go to an expensive place for a honeymoon or simply wanna celebrate marriage like a certain actor or a novel character.
Once the first baby is born they might wanna buy shoes even before the baby is not born. Baby practically doesn't need shoes to wear but still, we buy them. Are hype about expensive marriage, clothing, and an expensive honeymoon really because of movies and novels? I would highly disagree on this one. Even if we expand the topic into all ways of communication and social media even then I disagree. It all looks sweet and romantic at the start and it's natural for a couple to have higher expectations from relation. If you compare it to your first time investing you were hyped that you are going to be rich until you lose money. First day of school is also the same as at the start most of us wanna become doctors, engineers, etc.
In any new thing/event that happened in our lives, it's natural to act differently. The same can be said about a new couple. Once you spend time with your partner, you will have an idea of the budget and you will lower your expectation or should we say realistic expectations. Because of human's habit of blaming we can't always blame TikTok, movies, novels, and other things. Just put your efforts into understanding your partner and your expectations will be realistic.
Conclusion:
I hope you learned from this blog. While media plays a role in influencing our lives, a relationship of marriage is stronger and we do understand the needs, requirements, and budget of our partner. We just have to spend time with our partner! If you read this far say thank you to your partner for everything they do for you. It would be a small memory or a big event but you always have some good memories with them. Appreciate little things in life and enjoy your life, enjoy it while it lasts.

Well marriage is like taking a cult oat. And if a person ain't ready for commitments then marriage scares them even most partners run away after finding out they will be expecting a baby because they ain't ready to become parent. At first it's a beautiful thing but they is a difference between dating and marriage

Put your efforts into understanding your partner and your expectations will be realistic. Well said, my friend I think it's possible that books and movies can frame our expectations for marriage initially if we do not have a frame of reference, e.g. married parents, etc., to look to. That said though, like you said, after the wedding comes the marriage and it is up to us to build from there.

Movies and novels creates a imagination of how we wish it could be~ it brings inspiration and entertainment.
It shouldn't be compared to reality because movies are staged senario's, real life does not work this way.
Its not easy but if we try not to compare our relationships with others and try not to care what others think of my relationships. Then you will start to see the beauty and happiness of your own relationship. Why? You were too occupied in other things than your own. And the real truth is.... no one really cares.
Its amazing how we perceive the world in such incorrect ways. :) I understand what you are trying to say, and you need to go into the rabbit hole of understanding what "being" is...
