3 Things We Left For Next Generation When We Die:

Every soul will taste death. We can't deny the fact we are going to die one day. There are many things we all left behind when we die but today I wanna talk about 3 things that are general for the majority of hivers.

Relationships:

A sad part of life is when our elders die. When someone dies he left all the relations for us. For example, john was the son of David. Now after David dies people will treat him as David's son. Relations are important as they can provide your comfort, loan, good advice, and much more. It is more likely john will have a better time if David has good relationships to take care of john for him. It would be David's best friend or someone else. We usually don't look into relationships as something of value but as how we live our lives with others affects the next generation.

Another Example: David was a milk seller. He distributes only pure milk. After his death, people will assume his son john will also sell pure and fresh milk. These simple ethics and honesty of our elders affect us in many parts of life.

Assets:

We can't take money with us when we die. Usually, money is left for the next generation (if not given to anyone specific) but it doesn't always have to be positive. David died leaving 10 beefalos and 20 goats would be an example of a positive net worth of inheritance. Inheritance sounds sweet but what if David was a farmer and died leaving a big loan for him to pay to the landlord? In some state laws, the next generation doesn't have to pay any loans but in some states, john has to pay for his father's loan.

Habits:

When we live in an environment continuously we adopt some habits. If David and john spent 20 years together it's fair to say that john got some habits from his father. A different example of habits can be David is a smoker but john decided not to smoke because of watching his dad cough in pain. This habit of not doing something can also be an example of building habits.

Final Thoughts:

I believe relationships, assets, and habits are left by people when they die. I thought a lot to come up with these 3 things we left when we die. Please let me know what 3 things you think we left when we die. If you agree or disagree with any of my points of view, please comment with your thoughts! I will see you soon Hiving!

Well said good reputation gives the future generation benefit too same like assets. But anything faulty, In your personality, raises questions about you and your incoming generation after your expiry. Can I say someone will leave behind the dreams for future generations too? The environment we are having people only leaves questions, taunts and incomplete wishes for future generations as an asset to run in inheritance. By the way, we leave stories too 😁 exemplified post.

I like the illustration you used on this👌. Relationships can be transferred. If a father is known for being good to people even in business, and his son takes over, people might still see the son as the father.

Habit is another important thing we should be conscious of, our good habits are a thing to be left so that our generations will be remembered for good 👌

And of course assets...when we leave assets behind and not only money, it means we are wealthy and that's a tangible thing that our next generation will forever be grateful for.

As for me, I will add culture...passing our culture, and family values is a must for me👌

Yup, culture can be transferred too. I read your post. You used wealth and explained relationships in that category.

You have explained your point very well by giving examples. BRAVO💕

It's true that we learn many habits from our elders which are passed on from generation to generation. You rise a good points.

This was a thoughtful post @dlmmqb and has got me thinking about what I'll possibly leave my daughters when my time eventually comes.

I came here via dreemport.

So, what have you finally decided? Are your habits giving her a bad teachings or good (don't answer me, answer yourself and make changes accordingly)?

Like most people, I have some good and some not-so-good. Hopefully, my daughters will be able to distinguish between the two types and adjust their own behaviour accordingly. More than habits, I'm hoping to leave them happy memories. Lots of them. 💛

Ya, sometimes children have different approaches. My dad smokes But I don't as I see my dad coughing and learned from bad example. !PIZZA

I like these thoughts, they give us hope and a good reason for improving our relationship, assets and habits. They can be our little contribution to the world.
Thank you for sharing this in DreemPort. 🤗

You are right. When we die. The only thing that matters is the imprints we left in time. Only that will determine how the world would treat what we left behind. This is why many people have died but they still live on through their works, children, and impact.

@dreeemport brought me to this awesome post.

These are important things to leave behind when one dies. Also, I would want to add good legacy and good name to it. With these, the coming generation would live on something that will better their lives.
I popped in through Dreemport 🤗
