TECHNOLOGY IS INEVITABLE BUT SOME INVENTIONS SHOULDN'T BE AUTOMATED

Technology is here to stay, it keeps getting better day by day and there has been some inventions that we might not be able to do without now. Talk about Technology helping so many fields in various fascinating ways. Although it is a very helpful concept, some things are not just needed. There was a time we wrote about examples of cases where technology went too far and a lot of reasonable instances were discussed. Technology is improving so rapidly and AI is taking over so many things, it is almost hard to even keep up with the new updates.
However, talking about automation technology, it is a very brilliant and interesting part of the entirety of technology but then, I believe some things shouldn't be automated. It is simply too risky and humans should always be involved in their functionality. There are many examples but one very good one is the idea and concept of automated cars, because "whyyyyyy?!". Honestly, why exactly? I do not see a single need for it personally. If you do not want to drive, just hire a driver yeah? Yes, you will pay a driver but then, anyone that can afford to buy an automated car can definitely afford hiring a driver to drive them around without lifting a single finger.
I am not actually sure if there is any automated cars in the market for now, but it's a very trendy topic and I also think many car builders are really looking forward to introducing it to the market. I have seen it a couple of times in movies and it actually looked quite fascinating though, but it's still a NO. If such car exists, I feel some people will buy it just to show off, join the trendy or just simply have the experience.

Personally, I think it is way too risky and shouldn't even be developed. I don't think I can trust a machine with my precious life, a lot of scenarios is even going through my mind right now. I know a lot of technology will be put into the creation but it might still lack some things that only the human intelligence can handle. I believe driving a car should entirely be an activity for humans to be carried out and should never be left to a machine to do.
Taking my country for instance, where people drive recklessly and get away with it, they willl definitely confuse an automated car. Traffic lights are not obeyed at all times and some traffic rules are also overlooked by so many drivers. For that kind of technology, some countries might not just be able to adopt such because of the state everything is in. Automation technology is a very useful and helpful part of AI but in this topic of automated cars, I think it shouldn't be a thing, for real. There are too many risks involved, so many things happen on the road daily that a machine might never understand. I also think it will be super costly and need really high maintenance.

Totally agree with your point about automatic cars I like this point a lot. While technology is impressive, the unpredictability of human behavior on the road is something that a machine can struggle with. Safety should always be the top priority. Every human being should think about everything from wherever they go. Our safety is much better than reading your entire block
Exactly, safety should be prioritized and I don't really see that happening with all these automated cars.
Honestly, I don't understand the rationale behind inventing automated car in the first instance. If the car develops a technical fault while on motion, what becomes of the other road users? They should not bring it to Nigeria ooo...
Lol, our roads and system isn't even built for that kind of technology. Nigeria where Google maps is missing road and making people get lost😂
That's true ooo. 😂😂😂
I laughed at the part you wrote, "...they will definitely confuse an automated car." No lies at all there. It would take long, long years before we get to that level of advancement because there's so much we ought to put in place first.
Very long years, fr. This country is a very funny one, we have so much resources and yet, we are doing so little.
Let's say automated cars are riding in the streets of Lagos, with the way the drivers behave. Trust me, there's going to be a lot of problems.
You explained so well. Thank you for sharing.

Lol, I totally agree with you! It will be chaotic in that city called Lagos.
Thanks more for stopping by✨️
I’ve Also heard about the automated car that drives itself. I’ve seen people use it and all but as African as I am I doublet I will ever try it by myself but then never say never so let me come back to this after I’m rich

😂😂
Okayyyy, I get that. It's actually not even because of the cost, but the safety part.
I read somewhere that, there are loads of Tesla automated cars rotting away in the warehouse because no one is willing to buy them.
I do not think I can trust any automated car with my precious life either.
Oh my, that's actually sad. They should all just take a chill pill and provide solutions to actual problems.
I concur here✌️
Even in movies, something like that always cause problem at the end. Lol 😂
Imagine if using the programmed car and glitches happen to occur. God abeg
Eiiii, I don't even want to imagine it at all, lol

For someone like me who likes trying new things out. I can get an automated car and put it to the test, especially on express roads but on a normal street where it can be too busy. I don't think I can.
Either way, it still sounds risky to me. I do know you love all these kinds of technology and checking it wouldn't hurt, I guess.
