Good day and happy new week! Amazing people of the hive block chain welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #hivelearners community, and I am so delighted to be participating in this week prompt topic: not needed.
The world is really advancing with speed. There are so many things that technology and artificial intelligence want to take over from humans. One thing about technology is that it keeps advancing day by day. I will not lie, most times I am afraid of the speed. AI and technology are advancing; technology really made life very easy. Truth be told, technology and AI are really transforming the world and making things so easy for man. Seeing this prompt, I have to ask myself this question: Why is technology trying to take over some courses and skills? The advance of this technology is a threat to some professions; it is very necessary that we choose a profession that AI or technology will not take over from.
Well, i will not lie, since the innovation of technology and AI intelligence, many courses have become irrelevant in the industry. I will really affect some many professionals and many people. I lost their jobs because of this. Just imagine one morning we went to work and your boss gave you a resignation letter only to find the technology had taken your place for me. I will do heartbreak.
One thing my elder sister will always tell me is whenever you see yourself, try to be the best version of yourself. One thing about life is that every day new things are being introduced in the world. As things are upgrading, it is also necessary to upgrade too.
Before I write my jamb, I have this mindset that there is no work in my country, so when I was writing my jamb, I took my time to look for courses that will be relevant even before I get admission into the university. I have some of my friends studying some funny courses, and I will always tell them back to me that I will never spend my money studying those courses in the university. That is to say, even before the existence of technology, there are so many courses that are so irrelevant that one can’t even earn a living after studying such courses in the high school. The painful part of it is spending years in the university; at the end, you will be struggling to get a job.
The thought that technology will take over some profession courses is really scary. That means everyone needs to top up their game the way technology and AI are advancing day by day. Wow, if I most say an example of course that Al will take over are:
Human resource administration: looking at the way that technology and AI are advancing in no time, this profession will no longer be needed. There is this online interview I had. I was surprised that I was interviewed by an AI and not a human. Do you know that so resumes are being screened and scheduled for interview by an AI? I have not really asked myself this question if my profession will still be relevant in the few years to come. After seeing the prompts, I get to realise the importance of upgrading. There are many courses that technology and AI will take over their profession in years to come.
Conclusion: I will advise that before you study any course, just go for the one that technology and AI will not take full control over.

When it comes to human resources administration, it might seem like a course that will soon be eradicated by the advancement of technology but I don't think it will happen. I know the course as human resources management and in most well structured organisation you will surely see an office labelled HR. We might have AI interviewing people that doesn't mean it is capable of performing the roles of human resources management. Thier main job is to manage human resources and increase human productivity, AI can only reduce human labour but managing human resources is another thing.
You are right, it's better to study a course that wont become irrelevant later in the future.it's necessary to consider the technological aspect when about selecting a course of study

I can't agree less with you dr, as the world advances in artificial intelligence, we also should advance with it. Am most certain that no matter how they want the world to be just technology and all that there are some courses that humans will still need to work.
