Do Clones Really Exist?

Logically, there is only one way by which humans are born into this world. And that is through biology when male and female humans come together. This is the natural order of things and it is how it has been from time immemorial.

But then, what if humans have been able to bypass that? What if the male and female humans no longer have to come together before new life can be formed? What happens then? Yes, you are thinking exactly what I am thinking. I am talking about cloning here.

2dk2RRM2dZ8gKjXsrozapsD83FxL3Xbyyi5LFttAhrXxr16mCe4arfLHA37mQtCuynkak9C9VAxm3nacdB7gLmLiZLuYVhHeNsRgxL6WKJoam3hs2B7ZLAp2jwaLFEwoAbLKzAfpv2DhtyvHbJunTbU58RMbxtkvefNK4qj8EA.png

Do you think it is possible? Well, why not? Almost all the organs of the body can be replaced, except maybe the brain. But I have a feeling that is something that can also be arranged in time. These days, through artificial insemination, a woman does not have to meet a man before she can get pregnant. And there are even instances where embryos are nurtured in tubes and tanks while they develop into a fetus.

So yes, with all the technology and medical know-how we have today, it is very much possible for clones to be built.

It is illegal in most countries for clones to be built though. And this is understandable because when there is a clone, what next? Will they have equal rights as other humans? Will they be eligible to vote? Note that clones are not robots at all, they are also thinking and breathing people, just like us. Except that they were created by men, in laboratories.

If we have a surge of clones, what could it mean for the future? Are we going to start seeing protests as they too begin to clamor for their rights? Will there be rules and regulations guiding the production of clones? Presently, there are no laws guiding childbirth, but when it comes to clones, there will have to be. Because if allowed to go unchecked, the global population could easily double in less than a year. And that is if it does not triple.

Because let us face it, if all could make clones the same way we could get our clothes done at the tailors, we all would want to own a clone. We would try to build the perfect person for us. It could be a sibling, boyfriend, girlfriend, or even a spouse, we would try to make them perfect for us.

But then, we would be forgetting that we are humans, and one of the beauties of being human is that we are first of all, imperfect. It is the imperfection that leads to growth and evolution. After all, if we never got sick, we would never need the hospital, if we never got hungry, then we would never need food. If we didn’t need money we would never have to work. All these imperfections are part of what makes us human and they are things to be embraced.

To me, it is a good thing that it has been declared illegal, and I hope that there is no country that is engaging in it secretly because honestly, I do not see the point. Instead, they will be putting the human race at risk.

Clones will be perfect humans, with really high IQ photographic memories, and durable bodies that will rarely fall sick. When there are up to a dozen of them roaming around the world thinking they would fare so much better if they had more of them in the world. And then, it would get to a time when they would begin to feel that the time of the human race on earth was now overdue. And it would be time for them to take the helm of affairs.

I am sorry, but I have seen enough movies to plant the idea in my head that clones will be bad indeed. Humans may not be perfect, but therein lies our strength. I am sure that no matter what comes our way, we would surely be able to get to the root. And solve it.

So, my dear friends, what do you think about this? Do you think clones will be a nice addition to humans? Or it should just remain as a figment of imagination in our heads. What do you think?

Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below, I would love to hear what you think.

I suspect that clones will be narcissists as only narcissists think so highly of themselves that they would seek to be cloned.

Hmm... indeed. Especially when they have truckloads of money, they can really do whatever they want.

This was what I have in mind to say too. With clones, I don't think the earth will even contain us anymore because without clones, we are already overpopulated.

So, I do not support there should be our clones but to let it sink into us as we keep imagining the impossible 😆
