The Journal Of The Un-dead
I walked through the old factory, which has been abandoned for years and has been forbidden by both the government and the general public that anyone should ever step foot in it. My curiosity was one of the reasons my teacher loved me, and what would be more interesting than giving a report on the abandoned building as an assignment? I can't wait to get an "A.".
I went to the basement and kept going deeper; it was like I was expecting a bright light at the end of a tunnel. At some point, the pressure around me became so heavy that it made it difficult to breathe. I kept on moving, but at a slower pace. The snitch of the dead was in the basement, and I could feel it. At that point, I knew I had made the wrong decision any teenager would make, but I had to come out of the building on time. I saw an empty room and decided to check it out before going. I searched the room and found a journal. I sat and read the first page, and I entered a trans and saw another man's life and how he wrote the journal. I began to read the journal.

"It has been a really hard time for me since my father discovered I couldn't die. I have been in this lab for 200 years. At first, I thought these men in white coats were going to help me end it all, but they are all after the secret to my immortality. My father had always wanted to live as long as I did, but he doesn't know how. After he handed me over to them, they killed him. Little did I know I was going to be tortured. The first 50 years were hell, and I discovered something interesting in the next 100 years.
After bits of me were cut and my blood drained for all sorts of experiments, I thought I would die, but the day that mad man in white came in with the black tea called "coffee," just from the aroma of it, my wound began to heal and I went back to my teenage form.
It was on that day that the real trouble started. So many experiments were done with the coffee, and it was shown that I must not drink it, but I could only remain forever young by the aroma of the coffee. Shortly after 200 years of being a text subject, the secret of immorality was found, and I knew it was in the wrong hands.
I told the scientist I would tell them a secret to immortality if only they would let me out of my cell for 3 hours. They agreed; I had studied the building even before they came around, and I used that knowledge to take down the doctors and scientists, then the buildings.
I spread the fake rumor about the building and made sure no one ever came back here. I am dropping this journal here so the one reading it will come find me."
That was when I became conscious of my environment again. By the time I came out of the building, I noticed the surroundings remained the same, but the outside world had changed, and 40 years had passed.
Your story is packed with intrigue and sabotage. Torturing an immortal soul in a mortal world is a strong possibility; that’s what it would probably come to. Fortunately, your resolution gives us hope. ☕️
