Fungi Friday : I'm a Beautiful and Elegant Mushroom

avatar

Hello friends of the #FungiFriday community, it doesn't feel like today we have arrived again on Friday, the day where this community rejoices with the inclusion of "mushroom" themed posts. Hope all friends are in good health always.

This post is my contribution to the #FungiFriday community hosted by admin @ewkaw.

Two days ago at around 17.15 pm, I was still in the office at that time because I still had work to do. Then I got up and walked around the yard of the office where I work, I did this to relieve boredom and stress after a full day of work since the morning. The atmosphere at that time in the office was deserted, some of the other employees had already returned to their respective homes.

Arriving at the backyard of the office, I saw an old car parked just like that, to my knowledge the car had been damaged for a long time. Even if it was repaired, it would cost a very large amount of money, and not worth it when compared to the cost of repairing the value of one unit of that old car. When I was looking at the condition of the old car, my eyes suddenly fell on a slightly brownish white object that was perched on the damp ground just below the car. Then I got closer to see it clearly, sure enough it was a mushroom. It grew up there "alone", but also looks very beautiful and so elegant in my opinion. Actually there are two of these mushrooms, but the other one is a little farther away and smaller in size than the mushrooms I found. After that I took my phone to take some photos of this beautiful mushroom.

The mushroom above is Leucoagaricus Americanus is a fungus in the genus Leucoagaricus, native to North America. It was first described by Charles Horton Peck, an American mycologist of the 19th and early 20th centuries, in 1869. It is found widely in North America, although it is more common east of the Rocky Mountains. This fungus usually grows on sawdust, on wood chips, on stumps, and on the ground. This mushroom is not edible; because it can cause vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain.

Here are some photos of Leucoagaricus Americanus mushrooms that I can share with all of my friends:
