Venturing into the NFT's world - Part 3 // Aventurando-se no mundo do NFT - parte 3
I follow my adventure in the NFT world step by step. Every day a new discovery. I'm still scared at how "liquid" this world is, Bauman would certainly be scared a lot. But regardless of the discussion of what art is and why an 8-bit art is worth more than a new car in Brazil, what I want to report here is my mental expansion when realizing that we are experiencing a revolution in art that is extremely Favorable to all of us artists!

Everyone knows that the plastic art world (especially) before the advent of the NFT was always very elite, and that while some ate thousands of dollars on a painting, other amazing artists remained voiceless and spaceless. In a non-homogeneous and necessarily designed way, the NFT universe is drastically changing this scenario, giving voice to many other layers of artists, and even to the always devalued (as art) digital art. It's a rough and chaotic sea, I must confess. I'm still trying to understand the system that governs what is seen and what is bought in galleries, the mechanism behind what we see when we explore the pages of artists, buyers, collectors. But what I do know is that I see a lot of art being sold, crazy, a lot of people buying NFT as if it were a relic. And that, as bizarre as it is, is an amazing opportunity for us little artists. It's the chance to open a virtual space for our arts. Give it the value it really deserves, and get out of that bizarre hiatus of the "digital artist" who needs to keep doing digital marketing to survive.

What I want is to make art, to be free and spontaneous and to devote my attention and my energy to the expressions of my soul, and not working doing marketing to survive. That's not even my case, but I use it as an example because I see countless amazing artists caught up in basic survival needs diminishing their potential to be able to deliver easily digestible images to clients. I'm still forging my arts but no news about sales. After all, it's not so easy to sell art. Now not so much for lack of interested, because demand is already huge and galleries like OpenSea remain clogged with new art being injected every minute! But I will certainly reach my goal at some point. I'm testing the experience in a very intuitive way and even giving different values to the arts, to "test the market".

Sigo minha aventura no mundo do NFT passo à passo. Cada dia uma nova descoberta. Ainda me assusto com o quão "líquido" é esse mundo, Bauman certamente iria se assustar muito. Mas indiferente da discussão de o que é arte e o por que de uma arte de 8 bits valer mais que um carro novo no Brasil, o que quero relatar aqui é a minha expansão mental ao constatar que estamos vivenciando uma revolução na arte que é extremamente favorável para todos nós artistas!

Todos sabem que o mundo da arte plástica (principalmente) antes do advento do NFT sempre foi muito elitizado, e que enquanto alguns comiam milhares de dólares numa pintura, outros incríveis artistas continuavam sem voz e sem espaço. De uma forma não homogênea e necessariamente pensada para isso, o universo do NFT está mudando drasticamente esse cenário, dando voz a muitas outras camadas de artistas, e inclusive para a sempre desvalorizada (enquanto arte) arte digital. É um mar agitado e caótico, devo confessar. Estou tentando ainda compreender o sistema que rege o que é visto e o que é comprado nas galerias, o mecanismo por trás do que vemos quando exploramos as páginas dos artistas, dos compradores, dos colecionadores. Mas o que sei é que vejo muita arte sendo vendida, loucamente, muita gente comprando NFT como se aquela fosse uma relíquia. E isso, por mais bizarro que seja, é uma oportunidade incrível para nós artistas pequenos. É a chance de abrir um espaço virtual para nossas artes. Dar o valor que ela realmente merece, e sair daquele hiato bizarro do "artista digital" que precisa ficar fazendo marketing digital para sobreviver.

Eu quero é fazer arte, ser livre e espontâneo e dedicar minha atenção e minha energia nas expressões da minha alma, e não trabalhando fazendo marketing para sobreviver. Esse nem é o meu caso, mas uso como exemplo por que vejo inúmeros artistas incríveis presos em necessidades básicas de sobrevivência diminuindo seu potencial para poder entregar imagens facilmente digeríveis aos clientes. Eu sigo ainda forjando minhas artes mas sem novidades quanto a vendas. Afinal, não é tão fácil vender arte. Agora não tanto por falta de interessados, por que a demanda já está imensa e galerias como o OpenSea permanecem entupidos de artes novas sendo injetadas a cada minuto! Mas certamente chegarei em meu objetivo, em algum momento. Estou testando a experiência de forma bastante intuitiva e inclusive dando valores variados para as artes, para "testar o mercado".
