A few years back I got a Google scholarship for the Udacity's nanodegree program: Front End Web Developer
I think it was 2017 when I applied, maybe 2018 when it started. It took 4 months and I got involved about 5-10 hrs each week.
Here, I found the page for it: https://www.udacity.com/course/front-end-web-developer-nanodegree--nd0011

The experience was amazing and, besides learning new things, I've interacted an collaborate with people who were very focus on profficiency and results. Which I love!

BUT, TODAY IT'S ABOUT YOU

And for those of you who are interested in the field or know others that might be, this can help. Just remember to reblog it or pass the info as you wish for others to be able to see it.

Through the new AWS Machine Learning Scholarship Program, Udacity has partnered with AWS to provide you with a free machine learning (ML) education entry. This program will enable developers to obtain a high-paying position in just any field where it can be implemented.

Udacity WALL OF SHAME:

🌏 They use to accept applications globally.
✂️ Now they just restricted them for USA.

So, if you find something similar on UDEMY, get it! It might be discounted or even free.

I've used Udemy & Skillshare (I'm in Canada), but never heard of Udacity, so I'm glad to learn about it. I've also learned a lot of HTML/CSS/etc before, and I consider them very valuable skills, so good for you for exploring them, and on a scholarship no less! Very cool.

I like that you're sharing the opportunity to apply for the ML one, sounds like a great initiative, even if it's restricted to USA only.

Thanks for a great read! 🙏

Yes, Udacity has more scholarships than the one I've written about. Check them out if you're interested. Their manner of delivering courses is more practical than Skillshare or Udemy and you'll get the chance to meet new people.
I'm an instructor on both Udemy and Skillshare since 2014 and I wish they would deliver the teaching quality that Udacity offers as an experience. But I get, they are restrictive in allowing instructors to use Slack and others, it's part of their internal policy.

Thank you for reading it and I am glad I could deliver some piece of info to maybe help you!

Yes, I'm seeing a lot of the positives here. (US Only though, right?) And I understand them setting up an internal policy. Fair enough. Yes, thanks again for informing me of this! 🙏

You're welcome!

I;m also an instructor on Udemy so if you ever need a course but cannot afford it, send me the link to it and I will write to the instructor of that course for a free lifetime ticket for you. Most of us there know each other from back in the days when Udemy was just starting.

I'll see you around. yes?
Hugs!

Wow! That's incredibly generous of you (and of the other instructors!) I've been considering taking some courses on music production, but the timing will have to wait.

I'm pretty focused on my next mega-guide, entitled "Why No One Reads What You Write: A Masterclass In Communication"... so I'll explore new learnings and courses later in the summer perhaps.

And I'll see you around, yes, I really dig the good vibes you bring to Hive. Thanks again! 🙏

I'm looking forward to reading your next guide, Ryze!

If I'm not close during the summer, just leave me a message with the Udemy courses that you want and I will respond when I am back.

I've been a bit off today taking care of extra things around but I am back in Hive now!

Yay! I hope you enjoy it, I poured a ton of passion into writing and illustrating it. (I tagged you as well :D)

All good, I appreciate, and I'm sure we'll both have enjoyable summers. For now, I'm thrilled you're back on Hive! Woooo 🙌

Great and complex article. Thanks for the tagging, I have distributed your article in the centralized world...

Back on Hive for a bit, doing some collaborative projects with a few Hivers, outside Hive also and my work these days.
Looking forward to escape daily routine into the summer waves!

Hugs!

"The centralized world" <-- I love this line!

Thanks so much! Ooh, collaborative projects inside and outside hive, eh? I'm interested... ::)

And yes, I'm looking forward to summer waves too! Hugs! 🤗

I am starting a few of them to let them take a direction, a vision, or another by early autumn when it will be time for building and implementation.

My presence is underground when it comes to Hive. I doubt any of these projects will specify my name unless I desire to. And I don't.

I was wondering if you're using a proofreader when you write. I like your style. It's coherent enough to keep me in the story.

Great question! I proof my own work initially, then @cynshineonline proofs it. Then I proof it again. Finally, we proof it together. Usually we have 3-5 'full proof-reads' per post, as well as some mini proofreads for various sections sprinkled throughout.

I aim for coherent, immersive story if possible, and I'm thrilled you like my style, thank you! 🙏
