Can Cannabis kill Brain Cancer ?

(Edited)

I was reading through this Academic Study and found some very Interesting Information about Cannabis and Cancer ... You would think that you would hear more about such studies.

Don’t you think ?

And why is some of this information buried so deep within these papers ???

In a remarkable study injections of THC into solid tumours of C6 glioma in rodent brain led to increased survival times, and a complete eradication of the tumours was evident in 20–35% of the treated animals (Galve‐Roperh et al., 2000). The anti‐proliferative effects of cannabinoids has suggested a potential utility for such drugs in cancer treatment (Guzmán et al., 2001).

Galve‐Roperh I, Sanchez C, Cortés ML, et al. Anti‐tumoral action of cannabinoids: involvement of sustained ceramide accumulation and extracellular signal‐regulated kinase activation. Nat Med 2000; 6: 313–9.

Guzmán M, Sánchez C, Galve‐Roperh I. Control of the cell survival/death decision by cannabinoids. [Review]. J Mol Med 2001; 78: 613–25.

You have to scroll 1/2 way down the paper to find this information.

It’s in this Section :

Adverse effects of cannabis on the CNS

Is cannabis neurotoxic?

Although there have been claims that chronic cannabis use may permanently damage the brain, there is little scientific evidence to support these claims (for reviews see Dornbush et al., 1976; Hollister, 1986, 1998; Zimmer and Morgan, 1997).

Sadly research like this won’t be put out to the public’s attention unless it’s to tag weed illegal.

I find it interesting how some countries legalize weed while others get jailed for it😂😂

I think there’s even more to this type of research that was never posted.

There is enough info and readings , backed up by science , it's hidden and ridiculed by main stream science and media . The fight for the patent is going on , one day some will say , we have the patent on the strain that cures cancer . The fight for the permit to get the monopoly over the cure coming from a common plant . I see no legalization in the world , i see manipulation on DNA level on a ages old medicinal plant .
They can't profit from the truth , so they profit from there lies . .. as always . ;-)

Yes. They need to keep this information a secret. Otherwise anyone could simply grow a plant ( of the correct strain) and heal themselves.

I verified these quotes in the sources. Not that I find @offgridlife untrustworthy but because of the culture of bitcoin: Don't trust verify.

Awesome, thanks so much. Did you have to read the entire article like I did ???? It’s crazy that such findings are not highlighted, included in an executive summary or even in the Conclusion. Who ever taught these people how to write an Academic Paper ???

I mean What the Hell ??

Thanks again for your verification. Don’t trust anything You read on this Blockchain... ever.....

Verify verify verify. Seriously ... we definitely need More Proof of Brain in the Hive.

I didn't read them all if they would post their work here I would. Brave has a handy search function for finding text in a web page.

“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written ion thevBlockchain. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.”

If you don't search for this text before thinking Budda really said it, then you didn't get it. 👆

In the original Kalama Sutta, we have (in Thanissaro’s translation):

“Now, Kalamas, don’t go by reports, by legends, by traditions, by scripture, by logical conjecture, by inference, by analogies, by agreement through pondering views, by probability, or by the thought, ‘This contemplative is our teacher.’ When you know for yourselves that, ‘These qualities are skillful; these qualities are blameless; these qualities are praised by the wise; these qualities, when adopted & carried out, lead to welfare & to happiness’ — then you should enter & remain in them.”

Fake Quote: But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.

Scriptural Quote: When you know for yourselves that, ‘These qualities are skillful; these qualities are blameless; these qualities are praised by the wise; these qualities, when adopted & carried out, lead to welfare & to happiness’ — then you should enter & remain in them.

Funny how its (not always but) most of the time the most groundbreaking results that are embedded in the results of research papers.....does make you think.

But why not include such earth shattering News in an Executive Summary, or a headline, or a Title, or even a Sub Title .... or maybe even in the Conclusion ???? Like what is going on here ??? Who paid to bury this News ????

I always look at which funding body funded the experiment/investigation there’s always someone that’s paying for any type of information and it’s that whole “who watches the watchmen” to, “if you aren’t paying for your news, then who is” …..hmmmm.
