RE: THE FACETS OF EXISTENCE THROUGH DANCE

I used to think that dancing was just a way to wiggle around with girls. Then I discovered raves and had a near-telepathic experience with the tribe around me. It was the most amazing dancing experience, and I felt in complete communion with every one around me. It was then I understood why pre-Industrial societies placed such a large emphasis on communal dancing paired with inebriating substances. This is an excellent post that recognizes the wider aspects of dancing beyond the mating game.

Thank you, I'm glad you put it that way and share the potential of this field based on your own experience.
I felt the same way at the Goa parties out in the forest, but in a tent where didgeridoos were set up and you could just grab one. I tried to play at the time and sat down. I think I spent four hours there playing along with the others. It was a very good feeling of togetherness and spontaneous music-making without hesitations.

Yes, isn't it the best to go beyond the mating and feel something different.

Wonderful! I did eventually make it to Goa but by then the techno-electronic-hippy scene was basically gone. I missed out. This experience with the didgeridoos is formidable. There is something very psychologically and spiritually healing about those instruments. Like you're listening to the sound of the universe. I'm glad you got a chance to try it out.

Absolutely. Although cosmic mating through dance also has its own charm.
