The most important element of a metal detector is the coil, this allows the detector to function as such since the coil is responsible for creating the electromagnetic field. The functionality of the detector depends on the model of the coil, and whether it is more or less precise.

This magnetic field that is generated is what is responsible for detecting objects under the ground, sand or stones. When a metallic element is crossed, the signal increases, it intensifies given some light or sound signal.

¿Te interesa saber como es que estos aparatos funcionan?, primero debemos saber que entre los distintos modelos existen diferencias entre su funcionamiento, pero veremos de manera sencilla su funcionamiento en general.

El elemento mas importante de un detector de metales es la bobina, este permite que el detector funcione como tal ya que la bobina es la encargada de crear el campo electromagnético. Depende del modelo de la bobina la funcionalidad del detector, y de ser de mayor o menor precisión.

Este campo magnética que se genera es el que se encarga de detectar los objetos bajo la tierra, arena o piedras. Cuando se cruza un elemento metálico la señal aumenta, se intensifica dado alguna señal lumínica o sonora.

Los detectores de metales pueden utilizarse en cualquier lugar, siempre dependen de las características del mismo, pueden utilizarse en tierra, arena, paredes, cuevas, construcciones, mar, etc. Si debemos saber que existen zonas en la que existen normativas de las cuales debemos mantenernos alejados en un radio mínimo.
