You want to change the color of your eyes.
You want to change the color of your eyes.
Changing eye color is something that many have always wanted, partly because humans want to imitate and we like to have what others have and also because culturally we have been made to think that certain eye colors are more beautiful.

Colored contact lenses were the first, they have been around for almost a century. The first were manufactured in the late 1930s when a makeup artist at the Metro Goldwyn Mayer film studios asked a Beverly Hills ophthalmologist to find the way to change the eye color of an actor who had brown eyes to blue for a role in a movie.

The effect was not the most realistic, especially up close, but it is the most practical and cheapest option to change eye color. Some manufacturers have taken it to the limit with contact lenses that have gold and diamonds encapsulated at a cost of between 10,000 and 50,000, although that type of lens has not been rigorously tested, so in case you have the money to spend on that, I would not recommend it.

Now follows a much more invasive and therefore dangerous method, silicone implants in the anterior chamber, this is between the iris and the cornea, I don't need to tell you that it is an unnecessary and extremely invasive surgery, but I can show you this study that found serious complications in the people in whom the implants were performed, in all 14 cases the implant had to be removed due to serious complications, that is, this method has a success rate of 0% according to this study, guaranteed that it is bad

Having said this not all implants are bad, in fact, Iris shaped silicone implants are something that is used in people who were born without Iris, a condition called aniridia or in cases where due to trauma the Iris is torn or left open allowing too much light to pass through the retina, people who have these conditions not only cannot see well, but the world is blindingly bright to them.

You probably already know the most famous case without knowing it, many people think that David Bowe had one light-colored eye and one dark-colored eye, a condition called heterochromia, but in reality he had an injury to the nerve that controls the sphincter, so he was permanently relaxed, discovering an extremely dilated pupil, this condition is called anisocoria.

Genial, asombroso!!!
La verdad es asombrosa!
Okay, I want the whites of my eyes to be a disturbing green color. I want the iris to be a glowing yellow that pulsates.
This will go great with the surgery to split my nose and the elongation of my tongue.
It would be so kewl to whip out and lick my eyelids with my elongated tongue while the glow in my eyeballs slowly pulsate in a sickly yellowish green color as I sit in the back of the subway brooding.
LOL!
PS: I think the taxpayers should pay for body modifications.

hehehe I prefer a bright pulsating orange.
I like the idea that taxpayers pay for every egocentric whim of each individual, the problem that is not enough for resources, as is happening in many countries...
