The New Space Shuttle.

There is a new aerospace company that was founded recently called Radian Aerospace and it has publicly announced last Wednesday, January 19, that it has a plan to build a "revolutionary" spacecraft, it would be a reusable spacecraft, as practically nobody wants to make spacecraft to use and throw away, they are all designed to be reusable as much as possible.

This particular one would be able to take off and land from airports and what is more amazing to fly again after 48 hours, the ship they call Radiant One and claims to be "the first fully reusable and single-stage space plane to orbit ” from my point of view it is an improved version of the space shuttles of the 80s and 90s of the us and also of the soviet union that came to build one.

In fact there are images of this future ship, of this space plane it would be the one above, just like the ferries it would need an additional fuel tank equipped with a rocket to be able to reach orbit, although it has a clear difference with the ferries and that is that this particular ship will take off horizontally like an airplane and not vertically like the shuttles did.

In space, it will be able to stay in orbit for up to five days where it can fulfill various missions such as putting satellites into orbit, carrying loads or taking crews to a space station, or it can even remove disused satellites. The ultimate goal is for space travel to be almost as simple and comfortable like air travel.

After making its flight through space, the ship could land a runway of at least three kilometers, another big difference with the space shuttles is that this new ship promises to be much more flexible and that it can be available for a new mission in just 48 hours. , which would really be amazing, at the moment the company is raising funds for its project and has already raised 27 and a half million dollars.
