Absolutely, there have to be lots of unconventional shapes of celestial bodies to discover that will amaze us.
In the case of Pan, the moon is really small, around 14 km of radius. The weird shape does not come in this case because any tidal coupling but because of accumulating rumblefrom Saturn disks. And the mass is so small that probably never would become spherical.
