Astronomers have known, however, since the 1880s that in reality what we see is not the product of a single star, it is two, one much less bright than the other and that periodically passes in front, from our point of view of the star brighter, reducing the brightness that comes from Algol.

The recent discovery is that scientists have wondered about the small variations they have also observed in the system and if those small variations could be caused by other smaller stars that also orbit in that system, in a study published recently in the astrophysical journal. It is suggested that what we see of something is actually a system of up to five stars.

At present it is located 92.8 light years from us but 7.3 million years ago the goal system passed only 9.8 light years from us, the brightness would be more powerful than that of the star Sirius in the Currently the brightest star in the night sky, the total mass of the goal is 5.8 solar masses, which is why some astronomers hold the theory that despite the great distance of 9.8 light years, the passage of the tree and its Star cutting could alter the golden cloud that surrounds the solar system and where billions of comets inhabit, there is no evidence that 7.3 million years ago there was an increase in comet impacts but it is a curious theory, that shows us that everything in the cosmos is in motion.
