Updating the old saying "A fool and his money are soon parted"... Today "Fools and their freedom are soon parted."

I know that the majority of people seem to have a problem when it comes to memory. Their memories they use to operate their lives seem to be very short. I first noticed this in the 90s when Bob Dole was running for President. He had a speech (one of the earliest I followed as a voting age adult) that said what myself and a lot of people thought was a bit insane. I don't remember what that speech was at this time. It has been a long time. I do recall he gave another speech six months later and it was very contradictory and often the opposite of what he had said earlier. People were cheering him. I'd ask them "Don't you remember what he was saying six months ago?" and they'd give me a blank stare and brush me off. I didn't identify as any particular party at the time. I was young and had only a passing interest. I was more interested in how I was seeing people make their decisions than I was the actual election back then.

I realized then the scary truth that most politicians are kind of like fishermen. If they are successful it is highly likely they are not telling the people that end up voting for them anything particularly truthful about how they plan to represent. Instead they keep changing the bait until they get the most positive results. If anyone does remember and points it out these would be despots will often quickly resort to ridicule (per Rules for Radicals) on that person. Most people are afraid to be associated with someone publicly ridiculed. Instead of thinking they distance themselves from the target of the ridicule and they take in the new bait from the politician Hook, Line, and Sinker.

These people get into office. They don't do anything remotely what they said they would do. They take credit for actions of previous people. If their actions cause problems they blame it on the people that came before them. This works. Why? Most of the people listening to them are quite mentally lazy. They don't want to have to pay attention to these things. They want someone they TRUST to tell them what they should do so they can put forth the absolute minimum effort. The key to these power seeking politicians is to convince people to TRUST them.

When that trust proves to be misplaced (which is generally the norm) the people that did vote for them are still easy to control. We've been conditioned by our culture, and our education system to view being wrong as a very bad thing. People do not like to admit mistakes. They will use any excuse they can come up with to avoid it. Sadly, this is part of the problem. Being wrong is an opportunity to learn and a good thing with ONE exception. If you keep making the same mistakes. If you don't learn. How can you learn if you blame your mistakes on someone or something else?

If you are someone that finds being wrong to be a bad thing. Start working on changing that. It is a good thing. There are only TWO ways for you to learn. The first is if you are ignorant about a subject. That means you simply are unfamiliar or don't known much about it. Thus, there is an opportunity to learn about it and hopefully not be as ignorant on the topic. The second is if you are wrong, and admit it. At that point there is a huge opportunity to learn from your mistakes. In this sense mistakes are very valuable.

Isn't it a sad thing that the "scientific orthodoxy" as some places like to label it does not publish the failures? If they are truly practicing the scientific method there should be a lot more failures than successes. We should be able to learn from them. Yet it might put their grants and other things at risk to share that information. Unfortunately this is one of the problems with the "scientific community" these days. There are a number of problems. The mere concept that there is a "Scientific Orthodoxy" in itself is kind of counter-scientific.

What this time?

Why am I writing this article now? I've been noticing patterns. It tends to be a thing with me. If you haven't noticed it a large portion of my articles seem to be me writing in a stream of consciousness format about patterns I am starting to see. I think about these patterns and they give me ideas. I often will write these ideas out and in writing these things I am also simultaneously exploring them. I usually start with a seed of an idea and I start writing. I generally don't have a complete plan of where it will end up. I write until what I felt I needed to get out of my head is written, and when I find a point that I think is suitable to stop. Often this works out well. Sometimes I don't do as good at it as I had hoped. Other times I think it wasn't good and I read it later and am happy with it. You are along for the ride. I simply wanted you to know I am human, this is my process, and I learn and change my mind A LOT.

The Pattern

I'm going to search images.duckduckgo.com for some images and I am going to hopefully let these images do most of the talking for me. Perhaps you'll notice the same thing I am seeing. I may edit the images and add to them if I think it is appropriate. I am not going to take the time to cite each and every source. They are simply images that fit the pattern I want to display that I found using these searches. If you base your vote purely on where I get the images then don't vote for this post.

Now in this one. They were constantly attacking Trump about the kids in cages, and the detention centers. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) even compared them to Nazi Concentration Camps. She also filmed a video where she was crying next to a fence around such a center and saying how horrible it was only to have the rest of the footage come out later to reveal she was crying in front of an empty parking lot.

There also don't appear to have been any NEW centers created by Trump. He responded to the criticism of these centers (Created by the Obama Administration) by actually shutting down a number of them and making things to improve conditions. The images that most news sites used to show the horrible conditions were actually photos from when Obama was President and Joe Biden was Vice President. Thus why Trump would often say "Who built the cages Joe?" The problem is that the media is so controlled and corrupt at this point it is simply a massive propaganda engine. They continued to push the lies and point fingers at Trump for things that were not his fault. They ignored him fixing the problems.

What did Joe Biden do after his presidency?

Cancelled the executive orders that were designed to address the problems people were pointing out. There was a surge at the border with Biden posters, and shirts. They were prepared. The centers that Trump closed were reopened and are overflowing beyond any previous numbers. There are camps being setup under bridges, hotels are being paid with tax dollars to house the influx, and new camps and detention centers are being built at a rapid pace.

Are you hearing about more people in cages and detention centers than ever before on the news? No. If you do they will blame it on Trump.

That is one aspect of the pattern...

So far they are still blaming Trump while doing nothing that actually fixes the problems. They are only making them worse with their actions and decisions. The propaganda engine of the media mostly keeps those that still trust and listen to them blind to this and covers for Biden and Harris.

The wall is horrible they said when Trump was in office. The propaganda machine that is the media hammered you nonstop with this. They again mocked and ridiculed Trump over the wall. As the Rules for Radicals suggest they should be doing.

image.png

They did indeed vote for a Security Fence Act of 2006.

image.png

You see this pattern yet? Some of us call this Trump Derangement Syndrome though it is actually much worse than that. Trump just happened to be the convenient lodestone for this behavior.

Continuing...

This post will be lengthy due to the images but I feel the need to be comprehensive...

Here is the link to an example and where these images I am clipping are from. I am cherry picking from this list. Feel free to look at the article yourself. I am not trying to hide anything. I am just picking some that fit with the pattern. I don't recall any that were not corrupt as could be when you really looked into them.

image.png - Got Inflation?

image.png - Infringement

image.png - More Infringement

image.png - More inflation, middle class erosion, and long term increasing the poor

image.png - Yeah, read between the lines. Trump was huge on helping Veterans. Just ask the Veterans themselves

image.png - Systemic Racism - focusing on color of skin

image.png - LOL We shall revisit that one in a moment

image.png - As expected from a compromised, corrupt person

image.png - More immigration (legal)

image.png - Already backfired and he is back pedaling on that one

image.png - More illegal immigration

image.png - More illegal immigration

image.png - More illegal immigration

image.png - More illegal immigration

image.png - More illegal immigration

image.png - Screws over the U.S. big time while letting the worst offenders carry on without restrictions

image.png - Lost jobs, not to mention the current oil crisis and gas lines...

image.png - How are those gas prices looking? Also most electric cars are still charged by power provided from fossil fuels

image.png - Say goodbye to energy independence... just for good measure let me redisplay one from above side by side with this one.

    Logic, reason, thinking?

image.png - Hmmm no "Operation Warp Speed?"

image.png - Yep, Trump didn't have anything to do with that. /sarcasm

I realize I could go on with this post probably forever. It is one of those Rabbit holes. The hypocrisy, media bias, and propaganda are the overall pattern.

There is also Biden taking credit for things that work that they were previously attacking Trump for doing.

It is the ignoring the fact that we went from highly prosperous (even when locked down) and not only energy independent. We were at an energy surplus. Now we have massive shortages. There is also a big push for electric cars at a national level. Perhaps we have a little Hegelian Dialectic at work here?

There is also the fact that most of what they list as accomplishments for Joe Biden seem to be focused on things Trump did that he cancelled.

I wonder how many people have buyers' remorse for voting for this crook... I am sure a lot of them are still deep in the throes of the cognitive dissonance and looking for anyone to blame rather than seeing the mistake for what it was.

Closing

In closing one of the big patterns that screamed at me and inspired me to write this weird post...

Recall how Trump was Putin's puppet, and he was in bed with Russia, Russia, Russia...?

Do you want to take a guess on how Biden is approaching Putin and Russia?

Trump had sanctions in place...

Bonus - this is a face palm

I would be fine with the "You made your bed, now sleep in it approach" but this is a bed that they are forcing all of us to sleep in.

EDIT: I forgot something important I thought of frequently when writing this. I am NOT a fan of Operation Warp Speed. It is actually something that Trump did that I personally consider a bad move. I do understand though. He was mocked for Hydroxychloroquine when he was actually right and he gave in to the ridicule and fear porn around the topic of COVID. I point out that Biden is taking credit for what Trump pushed for and worked hard on related to the vaccines even though it is not something I consider GOOD.

impossible that you are clearer than this.

a reality that many do not want to accept.

a mistake ... nahh no one would say it was a mistake.

easier is to turn the page and be blind in a world with a cruel reality.

You wrote a previous post about words being malicious redefined -- leading to considerable confusion. "Science" seems to be one of those words.

The propaganda engine of the media mostly keeps those that still trust and listen to them blind to this and covers for Biden and Harris.

A recent Rasmussen poll showed that viewers of CNN and MSNBC scored worse on basic factual information about the U.S. than people who consumed no news at all (with viewers of Fox News being better informed than both groups).

Yep I mentioned Science in that post you are referring to.

As to the polls that doesn't surprise me. I bet if they polled people that watched FOX and did their own independent research and used many different source those people would poll even higher than just people that watched FOX alone.

Fox has some good people. It also has some bad people and pushes it's fair share or propaganda. If you watch people like Tucker Carlson it offsets some of that.

Thinking a lot about words seems to be a theme with me this week. It is always there but I seem to be thinking about it a lot more the past few days.

Seems like there has been some contradictory things about Covid as well. For example, wearing a mask, whether schools are safe to reopen, if the vaccines prevent transmission, etc.

Yep. I actually considered going that direction but I noticed my post was becoming very long... :P
