The only thing worse than how media presents science is how politicians do.
Science is a tool for learning facts, not a faith to believe in. Having faith in science is a bit like having faith in a screwdriver. Science is an extraordinarily powerful and useful tool but even science may not be able to provide all the answers. And like a screwdriver, it doesn't work if used incorrectly.
