I agree once you get it stabilized it is easy to maintain. The one job I hate is changing the sand in the pump and normally get the pool service guys in for that as what they charge is neglible as I like keeping the skin on my hands. People are lazy here and get a pool company who service their pools once per week and they only charge $30 or so monthly plus they supply all the chemicals.
