This is wrong. VERY WRONG.
Let me explain.
Our technology is different from other civilizations' technology.
Science isn't even the same... and, if we go to other planets, we may find our technology doesn't work there.
What we consider the laws of the universe are actually only the defaults, in this area.
So, Tesla ran into this problem where humans could only accept so much change.
Tesla provided AC electricity. He could have provided free, world wide, wireless electricity
but humanity couldn't accept it. So, it did not happen.
AND, we will not have free energy until we will NEVER use it for war.
The aliens visiting us know this. So, they do not interfere in our evolution.
To do so changes many things, often invalidating the whole reason for starting a planet.
Thus, the aliens who may talk about selling "free energy" devices are bad aliens, that want to rule over and dominate us. If we take such a deal, we will forever be restricted in our growth.
And that would be so sad, because continuous green energy already exists, and will soon be available everywhere as the govern-cement controls collapse.
I actually agree almost 100% with what you're saying, thanks for the comment. I think the thought in my mind behind my statement, 'they want to share it with us', is that this was contingent on humanity being ready, which I did not specify. The encounters I alluded to included the aliens telling the witnesses this very thing you say, that they couldn't give us free energy and other highly evolved technologies until we were ready, but they could essentially plant the seeds in our consciousness by making us aware of their presence and desire to help us evolve in our consciousness to a state of peace and harmony. They are not, however, permitted to interfere with our free will, as you point out.
We humans are such a stubborn species, it seems we've learned our lessons a million times and still we can't seem to figure out that the path of fear-hate and division/competition will lead us nowhere but to our own suffering and destruction. At least that seems to be changing at a steady pace now, but still pretty slowly it seems.
