Firstly, what is chemistry?
Chemistry is a branch of science that deals with the study of matter: it's structure, composition, properties, and the changes it undergoes. It also involves the study of material substances that occur on Earth and in the universe.

We study chemistry in order to understand the way matter behaves and reacts under different conditions, and to give ways in which it can be used to improve our life. chemistry is a relevant and developing science, which is making essential contributions towards human life, society, industry and civilization. It's contents can be divided into four broad categories.

We preserved food through different methods like salting, freezing, smoking, addition of chemicals to it and etc.
