Good data! It will be a missed project... but engagement for the sake of rewards isn't really what we are looking for in the first place. I hope.

You are absolutely right in saying that we are not really looking for the engagement for money kind of program on any hive platform. But that is what is boosting the engagement.
Ya, it is a weird chicken/egg conundrum. Reward the commenters, people are all over it... remove rewards, people stop. If you pay your friends to be your friends, are they your friends? Some likely are genuine...
