No sé si han escuchado acerca de una celulitis pero te cuento la experiencia de una de mis tías.

Ella trabaja en Mc Donalds. Lamentablemente tuvo un accidente laboral al tocar su mano el grill y dos particulas metálicas se le incrustaron.

Lamentablemente ella no lo vió importante y se le fué infectando la mano a tal punto que se le formó una celulitis, que es una infección más profunda y de no tratarse puede morir la pesona.

Actualmente mi tia reside en Estados Unidos, me cuenta que donde vive una consulta médica vale 1800$, pr lo cual recurrió a la contratación de una poliza de salud para aminorar los gastos.

Afortunadamente pudo tener asistencia médica y le indicaron un tratamiento con un antibiotico de amplio espectro llamado ciprofloxacina. Mi tía estaba asustada porque llevaba 8 días de tratamiento y empeoraba. La mano muy hinchada, no podía moverla y se sentía muy caliente.

En la zona donde vive mi tia no se ven enfermeras que presten sus servicios a domicilio. Afortunadamente una vecina decidió drenarle el pus, ya que era evidente que estaba presente y existía un orificio, el cual se podía aprovechar para botar la secreción.

Déjenme decirles que al realizar el drenaje de la herida, salían chorros de pus, era impresionante. Luego de esto se colocó una crema que se llama bacitracina y este procedimiento se lo realizó por varios días.

Despues de esto si empezó a ver la mejoría y la hinchazón fué bajando, ya era posible mover la mano y la calentura se fué quitando.

Gracias a Dios se fué sanando despúes de 2 semanas y ya mi tía se encuentra trabajando de nuevo. A continuación te presento fotos de la situación por orden cronológico:

After this she began to see the improvement and the swelling went down, it was already possible to move the hand and the fever went away.
