What we do as a person constitutes to what makes us who we are. You are welcome to my daily diary.

As usual, I write daily diary of my day-to-day activities and this day is the first work day of the week. When I woke up today, before preparing for work, I had to clean the car. Then what was best was to warm the engine, that was when I noticed the car keys was missing. It took hours before we could find it (I mean my brother and I) but we later found it after recalling it was on the table with some nylon of bulbs which was later taken by someone. I was thankful that we saw it because it is very much annoying to be looking for something important.

We had plans to go to 3 places today, but the time left was not much again so we decided to see if we could do all.

The first site we visited was at Ikoyi Lagos. They called on Sunday that their lift was having issues. The issue is that the doors of the elevator won't close after gotten to the destination it had been called to.

One problem that I have with this site is that troubleshooting their lift is a very difficult task. Sometimes it could take more than a day even to a week because the board the elevator use does not allow the use of test tool to detect where the fault comes, so what we do mostly is try by error.

From the picture above, the lift is on àt the moment but the door won't close. What we had to do was to check the contactor involved in the door operation if it was okay and check the plugs of the board but after the check, everything seemed to be okay. We got a little confused on what to check next. It could have been more easier if the board could read the test tool so we can detect where the fault came from but no it couldn't.

The picture below shows when the contactor was being checked.

In order not to waste any more time, we decided to let the elevator rest and come back to it because we were in a hurry to cover other elevators as well.

The second site we visited was at Oniru lekki. It was my first time visiting that site. The issue of the lift was that it doesn't work on normal operation but only on inspection.

The name of the elevator is Doppler elevator. I am not sure if the place where it was manufactured but it looks more like a Russian elevator.

After the test and troubleshooting of this lift which took us hours. We matter found there was a small issue with the board which was later rectified.

The repair of this elevator was successful but so much time had been spent already and we couldn't reach the last place of destination. It was now around after 6pm I was eating my first food of the day. There was no time to eat anything at all.

That's all for now, I would come back tomorrow to tell you how Tuesday went.

We would get another board which can be read by a test tool. Then with the test tool, we can detect where the fault comes from.

Thanks for asking and for the comment. I really do appreciate.
